As the homeschooling mom, I have loved this series for its achievable experiments and my daughter has loved it so much she doesn't want it to end. The storyline truly helps with learning in a relational way.

Beautiful, easy to implement, with fun hands-on activities.

We are loving Adventures In Creation! It is the perfect introduction to science for my 1st grader. It is beautiful, easy to implement, and has fun hands on activities. My 4th grader is doing his own science (Gods Design Physical World), but has enjoyed sitting in on his little brothers lessons.

Kids love it!
Review byAriasil
I have a 5 yo and a 9 yo. I decided to take it easy this year and come down to my little ones level to try and see if she would get more interested in doing things with us. My 9 yo boy that loves science likes this, I'm thinking in just expanding the topics with him with other books so is not so simple since he can handle more. But my little girl who has trouble focusing and paying attention, who never is interested in anything we do as much as I try asks me every day if its time for the experiments! So far this is the one and only thing she's interested and looking forward to. I think this is the perfect thing for smaller kids!

Engaging
Review byApril
This is a lovely, engaging, colorful science curriculum. It is great for younger learners. We are using it with my (almost 7 year old). She loves it, and the material is just right. Many science curriculums for this age group tend to be dry, or ‘dumbed down.’ This is neither. It is engaging, interesting and presents the material in a developmentally appropriate manner. We love it!

Connecting Science with the Story of Creation from Genesis!
Review byHSKelly
We had just made the switch to Adventures in Creation (Level 1) even after the start of the school year. While we had enjoyed our previous science curriculum, we were in need of something that took more of a gentle approach to the subject, and this one definitely hit the mark!
This curriculum offers an age-appropriate introduction to science for younger ages and covers many branches of the subject, including life sciences (plant life, zoology, and human anatomy/physiology), earth science, and even astronomy. This is all accomplished with a Christian worldview. In fact, one of my favorite characteristics of this curriculum is that it covers the story of Creation from the Book of Genesis. When I first realized this, I thought, "how clever and what an amazing idea," since God accomplished so much in those seven days. The lessons expand on all of creation by extensively breaking down everything that had went into it. For instance, when children cover the second day of creation, they learn about water, clouds, and weather patterns. When they get to the third day of creation, they will learn all about plant life, so on and so forth. There are plenty of lessons to touch up on for each day of creation, so that the book covers an entire school year.
Master Books has become one of our favorite curriculum suppliers. The books are always so organized and they really take all of the guesswork out of planning. The beginning of the book contains a complete listing of all supplies that will be needed throughout the school year's lessons. There's even a schedule already set up, which consists of three lessons per week. I also appreciate that there are interactive activities to help my son with scripture memorization. The "Imagine That!" sections are neat, since they offer fun fictional stories that are inspired by Biblical events. These help add to our conversations about science. I also really like how the lessons are laid out for younger grades, so they don't overwhelm children. The topics and learning activities are both fun and appropriate for my child's learning level. Most of all, we can sit down at each lesson and gain a greater appreciation for all of the Lord's magnificent creation during those seven days!

Exactly what we needed!
Review byTheresa
I was planning to do science all together, but my youngest (7) was not engaged, and distracting the rest of us. I made a last minute addition to use this curriculum separately with my little guy, and it has been an awesome start so far, with a perfect balance of reading, copywork/coloring activities, and hands on experiments.
One unique feature of the curriculum is the Bible-inspired fictitious stories of Adam and Eve talking to their children about God and His creation. We've enjoyed evaluating the stories after we read ("What do you think? Did this really happen? Would they have discussed __?"), and it's brought out some excellent conversations.
