The adventures of Gideon and his beloved teddy bear, Mr. Snuggly, make learning about science delightful for your kindergarten student. This homeschool curriculum leads your little one in learning about taste, hearing, and discovering things about God and themselves.

Adventures in the World Around Me Level K offers a simple way for young students to begin to understand science and the methods we use to explain it. Along the way, students will marvel at the greatness of God and His amazing creation! This course includes:

  • Engaging stories from Gideon about his learning adventures
  • Simple activities and crafts to strengthen the student’s understanding of the topics
  • Bible verses to connect real-world concepts to biblical truths

This interactive science curriculum gives students the opportunity to stop and answer questions in the text. The course explores questions such as:

  • What are the five senses?
  • How can I take care of myself and God’s creation around me?
  • What is a habitat?
  • When did God create the sun, moon, and stars?
  • Why do we have daytime and nighttime?
  • How do fossils form?

Students will be able to answer these questions and many more as they investigate their way through God’s creation. Let’s Talk Science: Adventures in the World Around Me will encourage your student’s curiosity with hands-on fun that is easy for you to lead.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
Review by Jess
We absolutely enjoy this science book for our 4 year old. We do science on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When I say, it’s math and science today, it’s never a struggle to sit down to do school those days!
Gave me hope
Review by Kristin
My son has zero interest in read alouds and prefers to skip the reading sections in the math lessons. These lessons are short yet interesting and typically hold his interest long enough to get through one lesson. He enjoys that it's interactive too. Looking forward to using this series next year as well.
Love
Review by Donna
My girls loved the stories.
And learned a lot with this book.
Very Fun Intro to Science
Review by Alyssa
This science is great for my son who has trouble sitting to do work and listening to lots of instruction. I love that these lessons are short and not tons of book work! Thank you for making these lessons work for kids with all types of learning abilities.
My kids both love this science!
Review by Lisa
We only started this science a few weeks ago for 2 of my kids, but it is quickly becoming a favorite for all of us! The little experiments are SO much fun for them and easy for me to set up and follow through with. One of my big fears with homeschool was science and having big elaborate experiments for me to set up and clean up after, but they make it so approachable and fun, even I look forward to it! I love hearing how excited they get when I tell them it's time for science! And The lessons are the perfect length for their short attention spans that they have at this age to keep it fun and keep them retaining the information.
Science is my favorite!
Review by Averi
My child loved science and this subject quickly became her favorite throughout the school year! Love the simple experiments that are easy to complete, but are an excellent way to reinforce the content read that week.
Good introduction to science
Review by J. C.
This is a good introduction to science. It covers some simple terms and concepts. There's a lot of focus on observation skills, which will help them all throughout the rest of there lives and is, of course, a valuable science skill.
ehh.. ok
