It's...okay
Review by Tamara
This book has its pros and cons...
My 9-year-old son loves the different science projects to complete and drawings he gets to make in his notebook. Although this is a wonderful addition, the curriculum moves a bit too slow for his liking. Also, he thinks the book is geared towards younger children (younger than his age) with the way it is laid out. I do love how it references Bible verse and teaches moral lessons to incorporate on whatever he's learning that week, I just wish the lessons weren't so boring for him. He always groans when I say we are going to learn Science. Also, for a book this big and for the price, it should cover more science standards than only Earth science.
Interactive science!
Review by KD
My daughter loves this course, she is a very hands on, creative girl so she loves the biome projects and the science notebook because she LOVED drawing. What’s funny is that her name is Hannah and her brother is Benjamin, just like the characters in the book! It’s a gentle approach which is a perfect fit for her since she’s not a big fan of science concepts. This is just right for her as a 3rd grader before the upper levels science in the years to come. She also has the 3 additional animal books which pair well with this course. She loves it all, thank you Master Books!
Our family favorite!

We have done many of the Let's Talk Science! series books, and this one was my daughter's favorite! The biomes diorama projects were very fun and engaging. I highly recommend this book!

Great science

This science was so fun! With biomes and a picture to draw in a science notebook every week, my daughter now has a beautiful book with pictures from 3rd grade:)
Nice but different than 2
Review by Calli
We did Level 2 last year and our daughter LOVED all the experiments. The Level 3 doesn't have near the experiments, so she was a bit bummed about that. We really enjoyed building the biomes, even my 3 (turned 4) year old loved making his own biome. We are looking forward to Level 4.
Wonderful and Engaging
Review by Shun
My daughter loved this series! We enjoy the conversational aspect of the lessons. They are short enough to capture the attention of the student but explains the information on a level that she could understand. I loved the characters (children) who narrate the information. My daughter is a creative girl and enjoys drawing in her science notebook and sharing what she has done every week. The biome projects were a great part that we both looked forward. I would definitely recommend this book for any family to get their children excited about science and the world around us that God has created!
Good Science
Review by Lindsay
Our oldest son completed this science book this school year. He loved the fact that he could read his own lessons and do all of the work himself and then tell me about it and I would come up with a few extra questions about the lesson to make sure that he was retaining the information. He also enjoyed the science journal entries and he made i=his own journal for the year. I usually put our work up at the end of the year but he has decided to keep his journal out so that he could continue to look at it.
Good
