Awful
Review by Kristy
This curriculum is just awful. It is so wordy and even as.an adult i have a hard time with it and my son just hears blah, blah, blah when i read it to him. Its also incredibly boring! I'm a history lover myself and can't even with this curriculum. Dropping after half way through the semester because no way we can do a full year of this.
Not really AMERICAN history
Review by scram
We used this for about 3 weeks. My 2 kids really struggled with this curriculum. I didn't feel it covered much American history. When they would ask me to clarify what a question meant I asked multiple different lessons if this was their history or Bible? We decided to pivot to a different history curriculum that is a little more heavy in American history.
Great History Lessons
Review by Snowflake
I think that Master books excels in having well organized, well laid out curriculum with easy to follow schedules. American History was a super interesting, well laid out, easy to follow class. It's probably one of my favorite classes so far.
She kinda sorta enjoyed it
Review by Lori
My daughter has always hated history. But somehow, you guys managed to make it interesting. My daughter didn't exactly enjoy it, but somehow she didn't hate it. She will tell me things now about American history that I am not sure about. She may not have cared for the course, but now she knows some important information. Thank you for making this doable for kids who dislike history so much!
Not really a Christian Worldview
Review by jennifer
At first this seemed great and easy to use with the worksheets HOWEVER it didn't present much of a Christian worldview! They presented the 2 sides of abortion like it was just a topic!
Disappointed
Review by AmieNe
Does not give NEAR enough information on history in the United States. If they cut out some of the excess they could fit more into the book on actually history. Better used as a supplement than an actual curriculum. I am very disappointed.
Great Curriculum!

This was one of my son’s favorite subjects for 9th grade and I liked the simple format on the worksheets
Great history course
Review by Sarah S.
My son loves history and enjoyed this course. It was his favorite subject this past school year.
We were happy with it
Review by Jessica
I wanted a curriculum that was more open and go, and this was it. I am homeschooling several kids and I can't get to everything or teach everyone everything. This was simple and easy for my son to use. He is reader and retains information quite well that was so this was a good option for him.
