Great Listening for Learning and Fun
Review byDawn
Interesting audio that can be used with the textbook to help students or can be listened to independently. The story style makes it an enjoyable audio even while it has all of the content of a textbook.

This is a wonderful resource
Review byKathleen C
We already covered all three of the America’s Story books. Now we are listening to the audio books. We enjoy listening to these in the car or at home. The audio book is read by the author Angela O’Dell. I love the way that wrote interesting stories to teach us about history. She talks about this being a living education. Which means that we make relationships with what we learn. Through listening to these stories, you are able to do that.
This book covers the time period of the Civil War to the Industrial Revolution. I don’t think that I would use just the audio book, because I would not want to miss out on all the beautiful photos and the maps in the book. This audio book is a great resource to go along with the America’s Story 2 book.

Loved by everyone
Review byLaura
This is one of those audiobooks that my kids just devour. They love listening to it even when it isn’t needed for school. The recording is steady & engaging. One of my favorite things about this book, as well the whole curriculum series by O’Dell, is that she always points to how God is always a part of history.

Great on the Go!
Review byLexie
Our family went through the entire America's Story series a few years back, so when I saw that the audio version was available, I jumped on it. I thought that just listening to it would help remind my children of what they learned, and maybe remember a little more that they may have not picked up on just a few years back. Listening to this in the car has provided a peaceful review, and I am now remembering lessons I had long forgotten about. I just love how this book grabs the audience, and all of my children really have enjoyed it (from the teen to the preschooler). When you download this, you will receive an MP3 format and M4B format for itunes and other audio players.

Great Addition to America's Story 2!
Review byCrystal
We love this addition to the America’s Story 2 Curriculum! It’s so easy to take school on the road, or listen together as we all get to relax and I get a break from reading aloud! The narration breaks are really helpful to help ensure understanding and allow an opportunity for questions and comments during the reading. We all love the author as well. She writes in a conversational tone and explains big things in a very approachable way. Her reading voice is clear and just the right speed, making the audio version of America’s Story 2 a very enjoyable listen.

A great addition to our curriculum
Review byLynette
Angela O’Dell does such a wonderful job narrating her America’s Story 2 history book in this audio book recording. She is a pleasure to listen to. My kids and I have enjoyed listening to her in the car, while cleaning the house, and I also use it alongside the curriculum to help my student who has reading struggles. She is able to listen to Angela read while she reads along in the book. It really helps to promote independent work in our home and it gives me a little free time to work with my other students.

A Greate Resource!
Review byBecky V.
The audiobook format for America’s Story 2 is a great resource to use alongside the textbook of America’s Story 2. My kids love audiobooks and I am so thankful that Master Books provides another way for our kids to immerse themselves in what they are learning.
Angela O’Dell, the author, is the narrator and is very easy to listen to. In the MP3 format, each lesson is a separate file, making it very easy to navigate to the one needed. We used the audiobook format alongside America’s Story 1 and will be continuing as we move into the second book. I love that I have been able to use this to give us some variation in our lessons!

American History with A Biblical Worldview
Review byJoyfulMommy
I love Mrs. O’Dell’s emphasis in all of her history courses that history is HIS story - the story of God at work through the lives of people. It’s amazing to see the difference made in so many people’s lives when one person is bold to stand up for what is right! Mrs. O’Dell does such a good job of telling these stories in an engaging way, showing the good character but not hesitating to point out where things were not good or did not line up with God’s Word, and addressing these with a biblical worldview. She also helps us connect what we and our children can learn and apply to ourselves, seeing how each one of plays a part in creating history! I personally have enjoyed this book, and learned a great deal about all the different factors at play leading to the Civil War, the Continental Railroad, development of the frontier, etc. The audiobook makes it easy to listen and then talk about it, although I do like having the textbook on hand for the maps, illustrations and photos, and to reference and dig deeper into some of the text. Also great to listen to for review and gaining greater familiarity with the information!
