More Information
Fundamentals of the faith for the next generation.
Even the youngest believers need a solid grasp of God’s truth. That’s why Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers was created—to introduce preschool and elementary-age children to core Christian doctrines in a way that’s simple, engaging, and deeply meaningful.
This 7-book set includes:
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: Heaven - Heaven nurtures in children a joyful anticipation of eternity. The Bible’s teaching about Heaven offers comfort and hope in a world marked by difficulties, sorrow, and loss. When faced with questions about life after death, the gospel provides answers that bring peace.
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: The Church - The Church teaches children the importance of being a part of the family of God. This book helps kids understand what the church is, the main practices of the church, what Christians do at church, and why church participation is key for spiritual growth and health.
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: Jesus - Jesus invites children to encounter the Savior revealed in Scripture. May this book help you introduce the children in your life to Jesus—the incomparable, the indescribable, the Sovereign and the Savior, the Lion and the Lamb, the Alpha and the Omega.
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: The Gospel - The Gospel relates the good news of salvation to children, at their level of understanding. Even children can grasp God's saving love and His promise to adopt them and give them a home in heaven through faith in Jesus Christ.
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: The Mission - The Mission presents God's worldwide plan to call people from every nation to worship Him through Jesus Christ. God invites children to share His good news with a world of people who desperately need a Savior.
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: The Scripture - The Scripture teaches children that the Word of God is true, inspired, reliable, and profitable to lead them to God and a life of godliness. This book is a tool to help youngsters find wisdom that leads to salvation, guidance for everyday living, and hope for the future through the Bible.
Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers: The Trinity - The Trinity promotes the Christian doctrine that there is one God who exists as three persons- the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This teaching is important for children to relate rightly to each member of the godhead. Our ideas about God affect every area of our lives.
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or ministry leader, Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers is your go-to resource for teaching the fundamentals of the faith to the next generation. Perfect for gifts, curriculum add-ons, or building a lasting faith library.

Customer Reviews
I was excited when 3 more books came out and had the same style of presentation. These books introduce the topics of sin, redemption, and repentance, in a very kid friendly way while still being true to the gospel message.
They can be used as a little readers to discuss the topics or as a devotional as every page has scripture reference to what it is referencing.
A great little set that is also a good gift for a young family.
I love how the Trinity book breaks down a complex topic and gives a young child a big picture view. One thing I was disappointed in however, was the inclusion of the Constantinopolitan Creed of A.D. 381. In general New Leaf Publishing Group has been great about avoiding divisive denominational issues, and focusing on God's word as the authority. This creed, however, mentions one baptism for the remission of sins, a phrase that is unclear and would indicate to a young child that baptism is necessary for salvation. We ended up taping that page shut. We have also had to alter a few images like the little girl in the Bath Tub in the gospel. There is also a little girl whose belly button is sticking out throughout the Mission.
Aside from these elements, we really have enjoyed studying these books together in Morning Time and with the Where Faith Grows courses. The 3 new books on Heaven, the Church, and Jesus have been a wonderful addition and a joy to read.
