    Good explanations for young kids

    We used this book along with Where Faith Grows 1. It gives good, clear explanations of the importance of God's Word and how God gave us His Word at a level where even my two year old would sit and listen. The Bible references at the bottom of each page give good Scriptural support for the text of that page. The illustrations are cute, but not distracting. Simple enough for early readers, but, with the Scriptures included, also good for older kids.

    I am using this with the Where Faith Grows Level 1. You read a portion from the book once every 2 weeks. My son is able to read it and looks forward to that particular day when its his turn! The content is really easy to understand!

    I really enjoy the "Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers" series, because each book offers a simple, yet detailed introduction to core components of being a faithful Christian. "The Scripture" provides children with basic knowledge and understanding of God's word and the Bible. While the message is conveyed in simple, age-appropriate text, it is also very detailed, so it provides a nice foundation for younger children, so that they can learn about the Bible and scripture.

    This book has a great way of explaining how important Gods word is. My little one loves to sit and look at this book such cute pictures.
