    Bombus the Bumblebee is content—even without a friend. Then one day the wind blows him far from home where he meets some grumpy insects, who won’t help him get home. It’s not until Bombus learns to focus on others that he begins to make friends who are willing to help him in return.

    After the story are fun follow up activities, discussion questions, facts about dragonflies, and Bible teachings on being a good friend.

    Bombus finds himself in an unfamiliar environment due to circumstances out of his control. He meets other very unfriendly creatures along the way but lacks essential skills to communicate, get help and make friends. He learns valuable lessons on his journey and realises to make a friend he must be a friend.
    Facts about insects are interwoven in the story along with captivating illustrations of the mentioned plants and insects. The “a talking time” and “Bible search” pages at the end of the book have great discussion starter questions and Bible passages about friendships.
