As a Christian teacher, one can no longer be part of a public education system that requires them to participate in teaching destructive ideologies and advancing immoral agendas on young children. John Stamper quit his job in the Chicago Public School System to reveal what is happening in public schools today and promote homeschooling as an alternative. Parents need to know what is going on in their child’s school and be prepared for any conflicts of values they may have to face.
At what point can a Christian teacher no longer be part of a public education system that requires them to participate in teaching destructive ideologies and advancing immoral agendas on young children?
John Stamper reached that tipping point as a teacher in the Chicago Public School System and made the decision to quit his job and pull back the curtain on what’s happening in public schools today.
You’ve seen the stories on the news – our national education system has an agenda, being implemented under the guise of fairness, equality, and racial justice to children. However, this book will open your eyes to:
The indoctrination process through mandatory teacher training that implements these radical ideologies in schools without parental knowledge
The danger and division created by critical race theory and gender theory being promoted in public schools
How Marxist, socialist, and communist ideologies are dominating public schools, and how you move forward with homeschooling your children
For generations, teachers have been excellent role models, investing their time and energy into fundamental lessons. However, today a growing number think they, the school board, and their school system know
more than parents about what should be taught to students. You need to know what is going on in your child’s school and be prepared for the conflict of values that you may have to face.
You have options.

“John Stamper is an educational insider. As a public school teacher, John saw first-hand the harmful effects of Critical Race Theory, Critical Gender Theory and Cultural Marxism being taught in the public school system. He became aware that even though he was a good teacher, doing his best to make a difference in that system, the change needed in American education was bigger than what he, as an individual teacher, could achieve. John's book, Conflicted, offers a strategy that could truly change American education in ways many have not even considered. If you are tired of accepting the status quo of things getting worse and worse in American schools, please read this paradigm-shifting book!”

A must read for parents about education
Review byKathleen C
This book was written by John Stamper. He is a homeschool graduate and former public school teacher.
It is narrated by Will Stauff who has a very pleasant reading voice. John Stamper's aim through this book is to show parents what is going on behind the scenes in public schools. Ideologies are taught as fact instead of opinion. Teachers receive mandatory training on these ideologies and are forced to teach them in their classrooms usually without parental knowledge. What is being taught is anti-God and anti-family. Today, many teachers and school boards believe they know more than parents about what should be taught to students. Parents matter now more than ever. I recommend every parent read this book whether they are home-educating their children or they are in the school system. It is so important that we know the truth of what is going on.

The future of our nation...
Review byJoyfulMommy
We hear that “the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world,” and it is equally true that whoever controls the minds and hearts of a nation’s children directs the future of that nation. Author and former Chicago public school teacher John Stamper shows us a “peek behind the curtain” into the leadership and education philosophies he encountered through mandatory staff training: antibiblical theories and agendas that are shamelessly taught to children as young as kindergarten, without parental knowledge or consent. The similarities in the current educational movement and those through the history of socialist and communist governments are alarming.
I found this book eye-opening and helpful to understand the worldview being inculcated in our society. I have recommended it to Child Evangelism Fellowship workers for just that reason. If you know children in public schools, or if your own children are in public school, this book is an excellent resource to make you aware of things they are likely being taught so you can do your best to keep open lines of communication with them and help to correct their worldview from Scripture. If you are considering homeschooling, this book will definitely give you food for thought. And if you already homeschool, this book will encourage you that it is absolutely worth the time, effort, and prayer you are investing in doing so. I came away reminded of the importance to not just provide a solid education to our children, but to make sure everything they learn is rooted and grounded in the Word of God and points them back to Jesus - because truly the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge!
Having this available in audio format was very helpful for me as laundry, cooking, and cleaning became excellent “reading” opportunities! The narrator speaks clearly and with good expression, so it’s easy to follow and enjoyable to listen to.

Very Convicting!
Review byLexie
As a homeschooling parent, this book was very encouraging and supporting for me. The author is very passionate about his beliefs and convictions regarding homeschooling. He points out how easily public school can teach CRT and gender ideologies with current technology behind closed doors even if a child never comes home with this information physically in hand. The author speaks first hand as to how these topics are being pushed in the public school setting. Obviously it is very different from a Biblical worldview, so it should not be a surprise to see children who were raised in the public school setting leaving the church as soon as they are out of their parents homes. I really enjoyed hearing about the author's experience teaching in the Chicago public school system. The staff training he was required to attend were very eye opening - where as CRT and Gender Changes were pushed as fact. Instead of teaching PE virtually, the school system was pushing for him to teach things like apologize for being a white man or teach on how to transition to a different gender.
I found this book to be very beneficial to me as a homeschool parent, but it does point out some topics that I prefer my children not listen to. For this reason, I chose to listen to it when my children were not present so I didn't have to explain some of the topics to them that they should not know about yet (but would be exposed to had we chosen public school). I think this book/audiobook would be very helpful to all homeschooling parents, but also to those parents on the fence about their decision to not put their children in the public school setting.

Every Parent Needs to Read/Listen to this
Review byYulia
This book is a true eye opener on what is going on in Public schools. The book is written by a former teacher who reveals what happened during introduction of CRT and GT into our Public schools without any consent given to parents. I am shocked by what I've learned about the school system here. It truly reminds me about socialist country style of school. I myself grew up in a socialistic county and would not recommend it to anyone. Parents need to pay attention to what is going on in schools, and how their children are being taught and brainwashed to embrace socialisms and racism.
I like that it is available in audiobook form, so I can listen on the road or while running errands. Great book! Highly recommend.

enjoyed listening
Review byAshley
This audiobook is great to have to listen to in the car on the go or just want to listen as you follow along in the main copy of the book which is what I did. I have the physical copy. So while my kids were doing school and they were doing their work I had some time to sit and relax while I listened to the book. I enjoyed reading and following alone in the book. Saves time.
The author of this book John Stamper has a priceless viewpoint having taught in a public school the homeschooled his kids. The way that he talks about it is a real-life situation that we are all facing in this world when we choose to send our kids to public schools. And what kids are facing while they are there. What the teachers are going through. He also talks about the government's role in public schools. How they affect public schools.
I loved reading this book and listening to it while I wanted to do my own thing.
