Cultural Issues: Creation/Evolution and the Bible

Course Description

Addressing some of the most popular cultural questions about science and Bible, this course will equip students to think logically and apply biblical knowledge correctly. Over 50 faith-affirming topics, including fossils, the age of the earth, the beginning of life, and more are addressed in these two volumes focused on points of contention related to the Bible, faith, and science. Students are given insights to the arguments brought against the faith and the solutions from the Bible and observational science. It is important that kids have answers, information, and strategies when facing destructive influences found in the workplace or school environments.

This curriculum has been put together to provide the answers to many common objections to biblical worldviews and scriptural authority of the Bible. Practical tests are included to strengthen the student’s grasp of key concepts and terms, while providing critical thinking opportunities to put their knowledge to work. Students will learn to apply the Biblical worldview to subjects such as evolution, carbon dating, Noah’s ark and the Flood, and dozens more. They will discover answers to help know the depths of God’s wisdom found in His Word and in His world, and why this matters to your life, your family, and your faith.

Deep but perfect for group study
Review by Kristal
I was concerned when we first got these books that they would go way over my kid's heads. I had a middle schooler and a high schooler doing these lessons this year and, to be honest, the lessons probably were above their heads. BUT, when we sat down together weekly to discuss the week's chapter and discussion questions it was pure GOLD! They were able to ask questions and I was able to clarify many concepts they would have never been able to work out on their own. This was my favorite part of the week and I learned as much as my kids did. Pro tip: Do one book per year. The books are more than meaty enough to last an entire school year (we did one chapter a week) and then your curriculum lasts two years instead of one!

It was a bit difficult for my 15 yr old to do alone, so I read some aloud to him and we discussed together some of the Q's. We are going to wait another year and try doing the rest with a couple of other students for discussion purposes.
Amazing Apologetics course
Review by Courtney
This is an amazing Apologetics course. The reading can be a bit heavy at times so I often read the chapters as well to better discuss with my daughter. It's worth the time to help our children be firm in their faith.
Great Apologetics course for High school

We bought the kids Answer’s books and my teenager really enjoyed listening to them. So we bought this set for him as an elective course. He has really enjoyed using it. I will be going through it for myself soon. It will be used for years to come I believe.
Fantastic!

Taught this in our Co-op. It was a class of about 7. It was amazing to see the changes in these kiddos. Lives were truly affected for the Kingdom!
Great Resource

This is putting real questions that the teenager asks and then has the student think critically about it. Great resource.
Very interesting

I got this for my 9th grader, but I think it may be a little difficult for him yet (he's a little behind in his reading skills), however, I will enjoy going through it myself until he is ready.
