Practical reviews are included to strengthen the student’s grasp of key concepts and terms, while providing critical thinking opportunities to put their knowledge to work. Students will learn to apply the biblical worldview to subjects such as evolution, climate change, Noah’s Ark and the Flood, and dozens more. They will discover answers to help know the depths of God’s wisdom found in His Word and in His world, and why this matters to in their lives, their family, and their faith.

Students will:

  • Investigate some of the most popular cultural questions about science and Bible
  • Explore how to think logically and apply biblical knowledge correctly
  • Identify insights to the arguments brought against the faith and the solutions from the Bible and observational science
  • Learn answers, information, and strategies when facing destructive influences found in the workplace or school environments
  • Study cloning, abortion, GMOs, aliens, and more in these two volumes focused on points of contention related to the Bible, faith, and science

Cultural Issues Volume 2 is a stand-alone course and can be used as a follow up to Cultural Issues Volume 1. Adults and church groups will also find this study helpful as they face the challenges or parenting and discipling others.

New Answers Book 3:
Addresses tough topics thoughtfully discussed (global warming, cloning, stem cells, and more) teaching you to "be more effective in defense of scriptural authority and truth of Genesis as literal history."

New Answers Book 4:
Offers solid answers to refute evolutionary rhetoric. Broken down into 33 chapters, you can just look up the topics that interest you or subjects for which you want answers. Pictures, charts, diagrams, and graphs help illustrate the topics being discussed.

Teacher Guide:
Provides a calendar for lesson planning with clear objectives, and the worksheets and tests are based on both knowledge accumulation and practical application.

Great Resource

My daughter completed the Cultural Issues Vol 1 Curriculum and was excited to start this curriculum. This answers the same type of questions that the first volume did just a little bit differently. She still likes the curriculum and it has become a great resource.

This is an excellent resource! Clear to read and easy to use. Students will learn to think and apply Biblical knowledge. The workbook has questions that engage and help pursue further study and conversations. While this is directed to high-schoolers, adults can enjoy the study it provides. Topics discussed are cloning, abortion, GMOs, aliens, to name a few.
Great for Today's Christian Children

Cultural Issues Vol 2 is a great curriculum for your students as they face the changing world around them. My son has a friend who challenges our beliefs on a regular basis. This curriculum has helped him build up the confidence to challenge this friend back. I have noticed that since my son started this course, the challenges are turning more into questions versus challenges. I would highly recommend this course to all Christian students.
Apologetics Curriculum

The New Answers books are easy to read and follow along with. I especially appreciate the bite sized apologetics that gives you time to digest the information before moving along and the questions presented in the Teacher Guide help the reader to process the important points in the reading. The logical way each section is presented helps the reader to truly understand the topic. In this particular set we learn about such topics as the Flood and Noah's Ark to Global Warming, to Bacteria and Viruses, Astronomy, Darwin, GMOs, and more - all topics that come up in conversations today. This is a great addition to any high school student's courses, but I believe it would also be easily doable with middle school students who are ready for the information or when done alongside their parent or teacher. It will definitely prepare you for defending your faith.

I received a copy for my review. My opinions are my own and not influenced by the company.

This curriculum set is set up to help you and your children defend their faith, but also to help answer questions you may be struggling with as a believer as well.
The teacher guide has thought provoking questions to help you have a firm grounding belief in what the bible says.
Long Awaited

I was so excited to see this course. My kids take Cultural Issues Volume 1 in grade 9 so this fits perfectly for Grade 10.

Answers Books are written in a question answer format and are excellent as stand alone sources for study and conversation starters.

To me the greatest benefit of courses like this is that children are challenged to think issues through. In doing so they must really dig into their own theological views and what they truly believe about God, who God is and what that means in their lives. The questions in the course are often challenging and are great conversation starters.

I have a son entering Grade 10 in the fall so I am excited to have this on our shelf.
No fluff

This is a great course to prepare students for college, so they are able to defend their faith and solidify what they believe in. The worksheets and tests are short answers style which helps the students to really think about their answers and pay attention to what they are reading.

This is a mature course that can be beneficial not only to teenagers, but to adults as well. Yet it is not overwhelming for the high schoolers.

I like the way the teacher guide was designed. There is enough space between questions to add the answers, and I like this style over the one with lines.

The material is rich and includes biblically based science. Wonderful source for the teenagers to be prepared to face the real world and be able to defend their faith. I received this set in an exchange for my honest review.
Thought Provoking and Thorough Apologetics Curriculum

I've had the pleasure of reviewing this curriculum pack - the Teacher's Guide and the Answers 3&4 texts. I have been really impressed with the depth of the curriculum and the bite-sized way that it's presented.

This course is designed for grades 9-12 to be completed in one year, working 5 days a week with 30-45 minute lessons. Although this curriculum is designed to be used independently by high school students, I can see it being easily adapted for use with middle school students as part of a gather-round approach.

The Answers books are written in question/answer format. An apologetics question is presented, followed by a thorough answer the question. The author presents the answers in clear, understandable way, and backs up the answer with information from scripture, commentaries, as well as historical sources. Throughout the text you will find pictures, maps, and diagrams to assist in understanding. The text is engaging and can be read from beginning to end, or can be a helpful resource to flip through when an apologetics question arises.

The Teachers Guide comes with a suggested schedule for completing the course. It alternates between reading from the Answers text and answering questions found in the Teacher Guide. The majority of the Teachers Guide is worksheets for each section in the text. All questions are short-answer, and the Teacher Guide includes possible answers for each question. The questions are helpful and thought-provoking, not a simple regurgitation of information from the text. Occasionally, there will be prompts to do further research on a topic as well.

Overall, I really appreciate the no-nonsense way this curriculum is laid out. Whether used independently or as a gather-round approach, this can help us all better understand and be prepared to defend our faith. (1 Peter 3:15).
