This book deals with questions asked about Dinosaurs, Dragons, and the Bible. Using the Bible as our absolute authority & foundation for our thinking, these questions become easy to answer. The secular world is putting out a lot of false information about dinosaurs. Christians need to know the truth. We need to put God and his word first. Dinosaurs are a great confirmation of the truth in the Scriptures. Because the Bible is true, the message of the Gospel is also true.

The author gives a nice balance of technical and layman terms. The information given is engaging and easy to understand.

This is a great book for teenagers and adults to read. We need to be informed of the truth about Dinosaurs, that truth is found in the Bible.

I’ve never given much thought about dinosaurs from a Biblical perspective. I always knew that what is taught in schools regarding evolution & the age of the earth is incorrect. I never knew the importance of digging deeper into the truth about dinosaurs. This book was incredibly fascinating. It answered all the questions that I didn’t even know I had in an easy to understand way. This will certainly be included one of the books we go through with our kids.

I absolutely loved reading Dinosaurs, Dragons, and the Bible. The scientific and Biblical information is presented in such a way to promote understanding without causing confusion or being overwhelming. I especially appreciated the chapter on when Dragons became a myth with the comparison to the DoDo bird. This book is a great addition to our apologetics library and is an essential resource in debating with those who espouse an evolutionary worldview.

I’m honestly floored at how little Christianity has to say about science. We keep letting the public arena stake their claim on all things science and intelligent. It’s refreshing and faithbuilding to know that there are people such as Bodie Hodge out there willing to do the research (or at least compile it) and make it not only fascinating (I never really cared too much for science) and comprehensive for the average person. (I have literally sat through 150+ pages without tiring of the information or way it’s taught) If you have ever questioned The Who/what/when/where/why’s and how’s on all things Dino/dragon relating to the Bible… this is a must have resource. Will be sharing with my pastor and pastor friends!

We need to know what God says. God is the ultimate authority on every subject. When you know the Bible, that is how you can counter the false beliefs that are out there.
We have been taught the secular view of dinosaurs. We must not ignore what the scriptures say and accept secular opinions.

Using the Bible as the authority, Bodie Hodge provides answers to the most asked questions about dinosaurs and dragons.

This book is an interesting read for an older child through an adult.

Though I was raised in a family with a biblical worldview, it wasn’t until I was in my teens that our worldview received what Bodie Hodge calls in this book the “nudge” we needed to place dinosaurs into the Bible record. We knew millions of years was not an option according to a literal interpretation of Genesis, but we didn’t quite know what to do with dinosaurs since they are so tied to the evolutionary model. It’s so simple when you start just with the Bible, as explained in this book; and understanding the truth about them is probably more needful than I ever before realized to combat the false worldviews of secular society that young people all around us are steeped in for their formative years. This book is a wonderful tool to reach a greater understanding and be able to explain dinosaurs simply from a creationist perspective.

Mr. Hodge begins with a clearly defined biblical worldview: it all boils down to whether we believe God’s Word (literally), or man’s word. He graciously yet clearly calls the church to action, encouraging leadership to step up and teach the Bible literally rather than compromising with evolutionary models (which he also presents clearly) or being silent on the matter, which leaves the churchgoers under the impression that what they are taught in school and by the secular world are correct.

He does an excellent job of explaining scientific concepts about dinosaurs, animal kinds, numbers of animals possible on the ark, and how they came to the number they used for the Ark Encounter. Other things I found interesting were points about what dinosaurs ate and changes brought about by not only the curse, but also the Flood, and also the process of fossilization and how it fits with the Genesis account of the Flood.

More than simply a book about dinosaurs, I appreciate the apologetic nature of this book defending a biblical worldview while explaining secular worldviews and pointing out their fallacies. There is fascinating information here, too, about geology and the rock layers, atmospheric changes brought about by the Flood, even the history of English Bible translations as he explains why the word “dinosaur” isn’t found in Scripture, although the concept of them is seen in dragons and creatures like Behemoth and Leviathan. I appreciate that he explores some Hebrew words to give a fuller sense of the Genesis account, all in a very readable style.

Another feature I really appreciate in this book is the end of chapter notes containing the Scriptures referenced, as well as other sources and book titles for further research. I think my favorite, though, is a quote I will close with, found in the final chapter where the author shares his heart behind studying and teaching about dinosaurs:

“My reason for discussing dinosaurs isn’t just to teach about dinosaurs. I want people to realize the Bible is true and that dinosaurs are a great confirmation of the truth of the Scriptures. Because the Bible is true, the message of the Gospel (good news about Jesus) is also true.”

This is a wonderful and through book on the dinosaurs and dragons, and how they fit in the Bible. Mr. Bodie Hodge presents biblical, historical and scientific proof of the existence of the dinosaurs and dragons.
There is also a DVD by the same author regarding this topic.

This is a wonderful resource to strengthen the faith and increase the understanding of the topic which is important in building correct perception of the dinosaurs in regards to the evolution.

Oh my goodness!!!! I could write a short essay about what I like about this book. But I won’t. This book is packed full of great information regarding Dinosaurs and the Bible. It clearly shows that evolutions cannot be real. The author takes scientific facts, fossils, etc that have been found and shows clearly how evolutionist have taken facts and twisted them to fit their world view. When you take all the evidence, scientific facts, etc and hold them next to Gods Word- you clearly can see Gods Word has much evidence for man and Dinosaurs walking together, and so much more. This is an absolute must have book for every avid dinosaur lover. If you have children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews in public school please read this book and share this information with them so that they do not fall for the lie the world gives them. I would recommend this for teens and up. But the information in it is for all ages.

A must have book for any parent with a dinosaur loving child, or an older child or teen who wants to understand more about what the Bible says about dinosaurs. This book is written in a way that is easy to understand but includes a great deal of scientific information. As a parent, I had a biblical worldview of dinosaurs, but I did not have all of the scientific information to help answer questions that would arise about specifics, and this book was a great resource for that. The illustrations and diagrams are very helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I thought Bodie Hodge did a great job balancing technical and laymen terms. I also like how Bodie incorporated logic terms into the several discussions throughout the book. I think this is important since much of the secular community uses fallacious arguments and having an appreciation for the illogical viewpoints in the world can help the Christian in those discussion. I thought Bodie Hodge spent a good amount of time (first several chapters) building up to how we got to where we are and where we should be. I also thought Bodie did a good job with references so the reader can explore more if they desire. I appreciate the extra time spent discussing the "dinosaur-to-bird" claim by the secular worldview. I also appreciate how Bodie highlighted how even Christians through the years have compromised which even resulted in faulty Bible translations. Furthermore, I thought the Q&A toward the end of the book was good for more edification.
