Great detail and love the dissection!
Review by Jennifer
I chose this course over the more advanced course for my 7th grader because it had the dissections. Coming from a medical profession I was very impressed with the level of detail in these books as well as the dissections. I have taken gross anatomy and had never dissected some of the items completed in this course. I loved it as did my daughter (and son who became interested as we went).
The books are perfect, the teacher's guide is lacking.
Review by Melissa
These books are definitely worth the purchase. They are written in easy to understand language and explanations, great photos and very interesting. We found the teacher guide took the love of learning away. It felt more like busy work than anything else. We would just discuss each chapter and watch some youtube videos on the topic if they were interested in looking further. Definitely buy the books, leave the teacher guide behind.
Purchased and Love!

These books are great! Will be using these books for our Health Unit in our classroom setting.
We love anatomy
Review by Amanda
Our family absolutely LOVES learning all about the body. This year we chose this curriculum for my 6th grader and she is excited. My 1st grader can't wait to learn with her. What a blessing to be able to teach and learn along with our children. God is good!
Very Informative!
Review by Krystal
We loved the experiments, and the worksheets were manageable - but the tests at the end of each section were too much for my boys. I let them work ahead, and then did an open book review for the test. They would then study the material for an oral exam.
The dissections were our favorites!
Full of information
Review by Amy
I loved the textbook information for my 5th grader. He learned so much. However I would have liked to see the worksheets fit the lessons a bit better. I found that when I reviewed the vocabulary cards every week my son did much better on the tests.
Daughter found it super intresting
Review by Jessica
My daughter wanted this set because she wants to be in the medical field as an adult. She periodically reads us parts she finds interesting and loves being able to tell us things we don't know being raised by people in the medical field.
My daughter LOVED this course.
Review by Mackenzie
My daughter is 4th grade and 8/9 years old during this previous school year and requested to do this course. I was worried that it may be too advanced or she would lose interest in the subject. However, she LOVED IT! She was able to do all the reading and worksheets herself, and several of the activities. We ordered the dissection kits and turned that into group activities with our friends and they had so much fun learning and cutting into different organs together to learn. Highly recommend for both self-learned and hands on learners.
Anatomy Must Have
Review by Julie
We really love these books. My son sat down to start reading The Breathtaking Respiratory System and finished reading it in just under two hours. It was so interesting to him that he could not put it down. I really like this curriculum. It is appealing to all ages. The workbook has a variety of activities to go along with each section. I recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about anatomy!
A+!! My 4 year old love this book!!
