Overview

If children aren’t given answers to their questions about the Bible and the history it reveals, they cannot defend their faith against a fallen world. This course highlights the unique collection of question-answer books from Ken Ham and the creative team at Answers in Genesis to meet this need and helps kids focus on Scripture memorization and faith-building truth. The Bible verses quoted in The Answers Book for Kids series are from the New King James Version, though kids are encouraged to write out their daily verses in the version they use each day.

Based on the amazing Answers Book for Kids series, with answers to over 100 of their most difficult questions! This course features a five-day schedule.

This apologetics study for upper elementary children delves into issues regarding the Bible, God, sin, dinosaurs, the Flood of Noah, salvation, astronomy, and more, and is all based on actual questions asked by kids. Answers are important. If children aren't given answers to their questions about the Bible and the history it reveals, they cannot defend their faith against a fallen world. The course highlights the unique collection of question-answer books from Ken Ham and the creative team at Answers in Genesis to meet this need and helps kids focus on Scripture memorization and faith-building truth. Easy to use

I really like this it's easy to use and help my kids with all the extra questions they have. Thank you for making it easy to use.
So far my daughter has liked this and it makes her think…

We do this two days a week and she is in 2nd grade it almost at the end and it will take us until the beginning of 4th grade to finish with doing it two days a week. So far she likes it. I downloaded it and printed it off with the black printer and hole punch and put it in a binder. And while we are kinda doing it out of order I am making it work for her and her interest and then move on. The books and questions are so good. It is challenging my daughter and making her think but it is good good for them.
Excellent for kids and adults

I recently purchased this for next years curriculum. I decided I am not waiting. Our Zoology and Language have Bible lessons in them and my son has a daily Bible Study that he does on the non-bible lesson days.

I have decided that we are going to do this on Sundays, sitting on the sofa to be relaxed and conversational.

Each page of the book has a question that a child asks (kids have the best questions, don't they?) The paper in the study guide always asks the child to answer the question on their own, before reading what the author has written. This gives us a chance to really discuss things and appreciate each others perspectives.

The authors base their answers, biblically. Always. If the answer is not clear-cut, they explain how they can possibly come to their response. This is a great way to teach kids to think outside the box and to counter some of the non-biblical perspectives others might have.
Useful

I like the teacher guides that are provided. However, like another review I read, the TG here seems more advanced than the actual books. Due to that I don't have my kids actually use the worksheets provided. I use it more as review and discussion questions for my kids k-6th.
Teachers guide

We loved the teachers guide. However sometimes the amount of Bible copywork would get to be overwhelming for my student. We would just pick a verse as this was very easily adaptable to our own schedule.
Pros and Cons
Review by Andrea
Please do not get me wrong, I'm not being persnickety, I like the Parent Guides put out by Master Books, we have purchased several. I would ask - no BEG - that the pages actually truly be fully perforated so that the books can be disassembled for easier copying, placing in a binder, etc. This guide will go through five children. It took me HOURS to tear out the pages, as the perforations are simply glorified lines. Very messy, very frustrating. I do not live anywhere near a copy shop/office supply store or I would have taken it there and paid someone to deconstruct it. I did not buy the ebook simply because of the wear and tear on the printer, cost of ink, etc. Anyway, that is my honest review.
good teachers guide

I liked this guide better than the books that went with it. The guide is 4-6th grade level but the books are much below that.

Love the questions that go along with the books. Makes kids think deeper and gives parents ideas of what to talk more about. A great resource!

This is a good resource for taking the Answers for Kids books to another level for older Elementry students and to check for understanding.
