    WAY Better Than Expected!!

    I thought that this book might be boring and a real chore to work through for my son but I was so wrong! There were so many mind blowing facts about math that we never knew. It just made me even more aware of God's absolutely amazing creation and how math is pretty much the heartbeat of it all.

    My son is in the 9th grade and while he is advanced in math with special interest in biblical science, he doesn't actual enjoy math - even though he is very good at it. I thought he would be bored with this book since it was history + math. But nope! The biblical sciency math facts were a pleasure to learn! There were some math problems to solve in the course, but not very many. The course was more about teaching relevent info and leave out any busywork. So the very few math equations to solve were necessary to help a concept make sense.

    This book is one worth having, even if not doing the rest of the "Survey of the Sciences" course, this book alone is fantastic and a wonderful read with the whole family.

    I bought this to use as an additional resource with my math-minded youngest, and the information is fascinating. Excellent material to delve further into the world of mathematics.
    Interesting even for folks who aren’t exactly a math whiz.

    We used this book as part of the Survey of Science History and Concepts course. This would be a good book for students who may not particularly love math, but find the story interesting. Sometimes learning more of the story behind math will make the actual calculations a little more bearable. ;-)

    Purchased this as a reference book instead of as curriculum. So thankful to have mathematics presented in a more integrated fashion, making it almost into a story, and is well done, easy to understand, and most importantly written to honor God. Thank you all!!!

    We love all of Tiner's books and have purchased all of them. Our kids are still young, but we use these books as read alouds and for research. They are such an engaging read and packed with great information. I plan to use them with Master Book's Survey of Science History & Concepts when my children are ready for that course. This particular book actually sparked an interest in math for my daughter, who was previously not at all interested in the subject!

    Math is not a favorite subject in our homeschool. I purchased this book hoping it would make math more interesting for us and because we do love learning about history. It really has helped us to like math more. It is very interesting, it is not boring at all. I would recommend this book.
