    I order this back when my daughter was going into second grade. She loved it. Beautiful science lessons that are great for those just starting to get into Science. Would definitely recommend.

    My Kinder was SO excited to have a science course that was just like "the big kids". He has learned so much and often asks me to do more than one lesson a day with him.

    I did this with my 5, 7 and 8 year old. We worked on it together and I had each kid do a different part. It was very simple and that was perfect for us, but some might want more “meat” to it. My kids enjoyed it though!

    It wasn’t a good fit when she was 5, but my now 6.5 year old enjoys doing the lessons. The lessons are short and give a good introduction to science.

    This curriculum is straight forward and has simple explanations. There is not a lot of activity to be done, but I enjoy that it moves quickly and I can easily add other things to enhance the topics if I want.
    Not Impressed by the over abudance of consumable materials ( workbook style textbooks)

    I do not recommend this updated version of God's Design for Science Series created by Masterbooks.
    I get the impression that textbooks have now become capitalized on consumable workbooks.
    Sometimes kids just want to read and not have worksheet after worksheet in each subject.
    I really wish I would have invested in the original publishing of the God's Design Series as I believe it was a better text book.

    Editor's Note: This God's Design for Life Beginners and the God's Design for Heaven and Earth Beginners books are textbooks created by Master Books for the younger student. The Beginners books have the reading and the consumables condensed into one textbook. The other books in the God's Design series are like the original publishing. They have a student book that contains only the reading content and a teacher's guide that contains all of the consumables.
