    The God’s Design Physical World Teacher Guide reveals the wonders of God’s creation through the study of physics and the mechanisms of heat, machines, and technology. Each lesson contains at least one hands-on activity to reinforce the concepts being taught and a “challenge” section with extra information and activities designed especially for older students.

    Designed to build critical thinking skills and flexible enough to work with all learning styles, the lessons require minimal teacher preparation, are multi-level for 3rd–5th and 6th–8th grades, as well as being fun and easy-to-use. The course includes a helpful daily schedule, as well as worksheets, quizzes, and tests. The information contains tips on how to teach science, properly contrasting creation vs. evolution, and integrating a biblical worldview.

    I find that I am not using it to its greatest potential. I think that this will be better suited for an older student. We make do with the questions following the chapter in the student book. I like having all the information contained and I can find the answers easier.

    The front of each lesson tells you what you need for the activities, which is helpful to let me know in advance of what we need. We do go a little slower that what the book has us do.

    I like having a pacing example in this book. We didn't use the worksheets much once I realized they were the same questions in the text that we discussed. We focused on learning how to take notes instead of just answering questions. Sometimes my kids worked independently, so the answers in the back helped me assess their understanding when I didn't read the lesson with them. I liked the quizzes and tests to help assess their understandings. The extra worksheets of charts and such were helpful as well for lesson extensions.

    I am go grateful for the Teacher Guide and appreciate the daily schedule. It makes my life much easier to organize his week. Most importantly the focus on the Biblical truths is why we continue to choose MB.

    Very Thorough Physical Science Course

    The worksheets and quizzes go along well with the physical science book. It gets all of us thinking. For younger grades it can be a bit overwhelming, but it’s perfect for the older grades.
    Electronic version would be better

    The content and layout of this teacher's guide is wonderful, but the print version makes this a time-consuming product. There are 1-3 pages to copy for EACH lesson so a large amount of time was spent copying pages. If I would have had an electronic format I could have hit "print" and walked away.

    So perfectly laid out with an open and go feel. It even has a plan for the year so you don't have to stress yourself to plan it out!!!
