Overview

Today’s pastors, evangelists, and laymen are struggling to connect with this generation in the same way Paul struggled to reach the Greeks in Acts 17. Gospel Reset presents a practical, biblical framework that will equip the Church to effectively fulfill the Great Commission in these latter days.

Hit the Mark with a Gospel Reset!

The culture has changed. Christian values, traditions, and terminologies that were once common knowledge have become a thing of the past. The typical Sunday morning call to salvation is sadly like listening to another language for many people today. Our gospel conversations can be far more effective. Today’s increasingly secular culture requires a new approach.

While the plan of salvation never changes, Ken Ham suggests the language we use to share the good news needs a reset. A fast growing majority in our world has no concept of sin, gives no credence to the Bible, and has no foundation for commonly used evangelistic terms such as grace, salvation, and redemption. In order to reach them, our choice of words and the starting point of our gospel presentation need to be adjusted.

This book will help you understand how to effectively reach the lost with a message of salvation that actually makes sense.

In this easy-to-read book, Ken Ham gives us a primer in Creation science evangelism using two very different sermons from the book of Acts that were designed to reach two different audiences — the churched and the unchurched. Gospel Reset: Salvation Made Relevant:

  • Outlines the social and moral consequences that modern culture’s war on the Bible is having on society
  • Provides helpful insight into understanding how to evangelize to young people
  • Offers guidance on how to ensure churches are properly equipping their members to defend their faith

Great easy read for Christian parenting
Review by Rachel
Thank you for this quick easy read. Thought provoking and interesting for discussion with others in our church group. I studied sociology and enjoyed thinking about parenting now from this time compared to previous generations.
Great

I purchased for myself, however I will be rereading it with my middle schooler. Ken Ham did an amazing job. Easy to read and I love how he breaks it all down.
Good Book
Review by Jennifer
This book was an eyeopener for me. Being in the Bible-Belt all my life, this is a great perspective on how to share the Gospel with those with a different foundation.
Clarifying
Review by Melanie
Explaining those things I couldn't quiet verbalize... I grew up going to & participating in Church but, went to public school. During my time in public school, I saw prayer removed & Evolution increasingly being taught. I've never believed in the existence of "secular" anything. Until I discovered Masterbooks, I had never even heard of apologetics. This is so refreshing! & The Gospel Reset really helps give perspective as to what is going on in the world today! & offers a way to actually understand, communicate & share truth in this day and age!
Wonderfully written
Review by Tammy
I did not put this book down and neither did my son. It explains why we are unable to reach the younger generation even explained to me why I struggled with my faith while I was attending public school and why none of my classmates understood my beliefs.
Very relevant
Review by Kelli
Ken ham does an amazing great job of explaining our culture today and how we can present the gospel still today!
Sad But True
Review by Michael
Let's face it, the Gospel has been severely distorted. With so many false teachers around, the good news is being left behind for a false message of wealth and health. We need to get back in touch with the truth of the Gospel and spread its message. This book will help you do that.
Great resource
Review by Laurie
This book really helps your thinking into why it’s so hard to reach people today if you’re still using the same ways as years past. Very enlightening read!
Easy Read
Review by Stephanie
I really enjoyed reading this little book. It is packed with information. My teens liked reading it too. Highly recommend.
Short and concise
Review by Natalie
This book explains something I’ve never thought of: why we need to explain our faith differently than our ancestors did. God never changes, but our society has changed drastically. This book gives simple, yet powerful ways to defend our faith and help others grow in theirs.
