    Grappling with the Chronology of the Genesis Flood takes you on a unique, in-depth voyage of discovery as you read this book. The authors’ intent is to help you chart a course to better understanding of the Genesis Flood. For as tough a read as this is, they present it in a fun way to go through it. I have always loved to study the topics included in Genesis 1-11, so when I had the opportunity to review this book, I jumped at the chance.

    I would definitely recommend that you slowly make your way through this book rather than pick it up and read all the way through at once. There is so much wisdom and knowledge to be gained from this book, but it is not an easy read. The purpose is to take you far beyond what you may have learned about the flood as portrayed in a children’s bible story.

    I would use this book more as a reference book as you study the flood - the preface even includes a list and overview of chapters to definitely read, and then recommends to those who want a more in-depth study of Hebrew grammar and general linguistics to read the remaining chapters. A subject index and glossary is included at the end of the book.

    This book is one that every family should own for their home library to aid in digging for a deeper understanding of the Flood.
