    We are very excited to read about the missionaries/heroes of the faith in this book. This summer we have spent a lot of time talking about missionaries with our kids so this will be a wonderful addition.

    This is a collection of short biographies of pioneering ministers and missionaries who have spread the gospel throughout the world. It includes a snapshot into the lives of William Carey, Amy Carmichael, Jim Elliot, Hudson Taylor, and many others. It is a great introduction to missionary work.

    Great for God is an easy and enjoyable book to read. It is also very encouraging! One of the "Heroes" of Faith (Bill Bright) actually opened a church I went to in Moscow during my teenage years. It had a huge impact on the way I walk with God today. It was neat to read about him and his humble life for God. His ministry played a huge role in Russia alone.

    It was edifying to read about other heroes and be reminded that the only difference between me and them is a decision they made to follow God's calling no matter what. Great book to read and build the faith that we do not need to be anyone extraordinary, just simply dedicate ourselves to God and His will for our lives!

    I bought this book to read along with Elementary cultures and geography. We have Christian missionary biographies we will read as well, but it's nice to have a variety of life stories all in one place. I'm happy with this purchase.
