    My animal loving 13-year-old loves this book. He’s really enjoyed reading it as part of our loop this year. He full enjoys the animal perspectives. His twin is not really into animals, and while he likes the stories, he feels they are too long. His favorite part is that the book is written from the animals’ points of view.

    We have 3 girls ranging in age from 10-almost 15. This has been one of our read-a-loud books this year. All 5 of us have REALLY enjoyed this book! This book is written from the animal's point of view. There are many facts included that all point to God's creation. It's impossible to NOT see God at the heart of creation after reading this book! Anyone, any age, will enjoy this fun and educational read! And I promise you...God will be glorified through it!

    I bought this based on a mom who had it and her 6th grade son liked it so much he was looking for something similar. That apparently is all it takes for me to think my son will possibly love it too. (Masterbooks doesn’t have to work too hard to take my money.) Well, he will. He will not read it on his own yet at 9, I think it would be a little harder for him, but he can comprehend it and will really love it when I read it to him. It’s written from the animal’s point of view and is done using inflections from the animal that give the impression that it really is the animal speaking to you. It’s chock full of really cool facts and written in an engaging way. We are not doing life science this year, but it would be such a fun supplement for that course. Or just to read during dinner or something. The kids will love it. And each chapter is short enough to hold their attentions.
