I love how simple this introduction to astronomy book is. It’s the perfect start to jr high science without being overwhelming. If your kid loves space this will be a great addition to your homeschool curriculum.
Intro to Astronomy
Review by H. Burk
We have just started this course so don't have an opinion just yet. The books seems to be full of information, however with someone teaching that isn't well versed in astronomy this would be a great course to add to Masterbooks Academy. I think it would be helpful to have someone explaining the concepts presented. Looking forward to gleaning all we can as we dive into this course.

Good astronomy course, I love that it doesn't have lots of work sheets with it, and that it gives us some free days every week!

Challenging, but engaging
Review by Beth
We used this set for an 8th grader. He enjoyed it so much that we've bought the high school version too. Challenging enough but interesting, engaging, and "fascinating," says the boy. Truthfully an open-and-go curriculum that isn't overwhelming for the student OR the person who has to check the work!
Great intro to Astronomy
Review by Amanda
This course is a great intro to astronomy. The book is very colorful and interesting, and the worksheets are simple and not overwhelming. I love how it is laid out in a 2-3 day schedule so we can be flexible with our classes. We were able to add this as a second science this year and it worked out very well.
Beautiful course
