Review by Karen F
This is an amazing course! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I wanted it the moment I heard about it, for myself as well as my boys. I have been interested in the study of logic for some time now. I wanted a course that is Biblically based and this is steeped with apologetics and is Biblical based. I want my sons to complete this course when they are ready for it (they are only in elementary). Some things that I liked best…. Throughout the book the key words are highlighted. It instructs to make these words into flashcards. Worksheets provide exercises for finding fallacies and other concepts from the text. I really like the images and infographics. Also, the answers in the TG are so helpful. They give additional information than is required which is great for further discussion. I feel that the study of logic is very necessary at his time. I want to equip my children with the ability to stand up to false statements and be able to spot fallacies. I want them to think critically and be able to articulate their beliefs. I feel that this course with prepare them for life in the real world and be able to defend their faith with logic.

While the TG isn't necessary, I surely wouldn't want to do the Logic Course without it!

The Teacher's Guild offers you an overview of the course, manageable schedule, worksheets, practice sheets, quizzes, and a final exam.

Each worksheet gives a brief review of the chapter, reinforces vocabulary, and asks questions designed to make the student think about the reading material.

Even if you aren't a fan of a worksheet/quiz/test oriented school environment, this guide is still extremely useful. The questions on the worksheets can be used for excellent discussions and simple vocabulary review.

I highly recommend this course and the Teacher's Guide.
must have for the Logic course!

Besides giving you a 2 semester schedule to work off of, the Teacher's Guide offers you worksheets and practice sheets, to help your student better understand each chapter's logic definitions and concepts (see example below). This chapter review is at the beginning of each new chapter worksheet, and helps to remind both the student and teacher, of the main focus of the chapter, and adds additional info to its understanding. These questions can sometimes lead to some really amazing discussions with your teen, so don't skip them! You also get review quizzes and a final exam. As an added bonus, you get more practice sheets that offer practical study for both the final exam and for actual arguments your student might encounter in life, or online!
The Perfect Introduction to Logic
Review by Cristina, A Homeschool Mom
For those who might be anxious about studying logic, have no fear! Introduction to Logic: Informal Fallacies does a fine job of bringing you up to speed and encouraging you in learning more. This curriculum is simple and easy to grasp, and it is a good starting point for young learners or those new to logic. The lessons are short, of benefit, and offer great discussion points. We cannot begin to express how much we are enjoying the lessons and how much we’re learning.

It’s fantastic!
