Going to wait to use
Review byJessie
I got this for my son, knowing that I may have to wait on parts of it until he's older. This book follows a Q and A between parents and their children with cartoon drawings. The parents are explaining how an unborn baby is alive, some about how they develop, how they are born, controversial issues like abortion and evolution, how there's a plan for every life, scripture, reproduction, Heaven, and salvation, etc. I personally don't intend to give my child a reproduction talk for many more years, he's 7 right now. I don't know if this book will be on his level when the time comes. This book has basic line drawings of male and female bodies, mentions sperm cells from dad, abortions and killing babies. I want to inform him about abortion at the right time but he's sensitive and I know it would really disturb him now. I thought it might have more information of the baby at different stages of development in the womb, but I felt like it was mostly an argument against why certain parts of the baby that are still forming don't support evolution. It also has a list for how to have salvation with scripture to support each part. I disagree with the list, think it leaves out a vital part, and mentions "asking Jesus into your heart" which doesn't come from scripture. That's my main reason for taking stars off. I know that many people that use Master Books support that idea and won't care, but I do.

So, so good
Review byBrittany
In a world that glorifies abortions and has so little regard for life, this book is SO good to help teach our children the way God’s hand is in every single life, even before we are aware!

More in-depth than I expected
Review byKate
I think that this book is great. It was a little complicated in some parts than some of Masterbooks' other children's books, but I still like it a lot.

Helpful
Review byKat
While most of the content is good, I found some wording dated & in need of an update. I'll wait a bit before reading this to my 7 year old. This is our 2nd year homeschooling with Master Books. I tell every HSing parent I meet about how wonderful the books are. My children are learning, improving, and growing in their Faith.

Wonderful
Review bymarci
it is important to teach children that life begins and has value even before birth. Using this as a co-reader with my 5th grader in addition to his science curriculum. A great supplement to any anatomy/biology course

Good Biblical book
Review byErin
The book goes into a little more depth than I realized, so I am going to wait another year or 2 to read it to my kids, but I appreciate the sound Biblical approach to the topics and the way it is laid out. Glad I got it even if we have to wait a bit!

Great for slightly older kids
Review byClaudia
I got this for my soon to be 9 year old and I think he may almost be ready to check this out. I do think it’s extremely informative but a little more in depth than I anticipated. I’m in no rush, but thankful to have this for when it’s needed for sure!

Good for older kids
Review byTERESA
A lot of information in this book. I think it’s good for older kids due to length of information. My younger daughter does love to look at the pictures and I just give bits of information as not to loose her attention.
