Great Option!
Review by Adrian
We chose this for my 5th grader's science curriculum this year. It covered a wide range of topics, and she was able to progress through it independently. The only thing I wish it had was a review lesson before unit tests. We adapted and made our own review day. Overall, she loved it.
Great book
Review by Sharon
This was so easy to understand and use. Our son used it in 5th grade and enjoyed it. So much great info for your kids. Safety, food , and everyday things they may question you on.
Exactly what I was looking for!

My son's favorite subject
Review by Tiffany
This is my 9 year old's favorite subject this year. It has so much useful information, and my son loves the activities. I think we will go back through all the activities again once he finishes the book.
Very well done
Review by Leslie
I am overly impressed. I wanted this book so much, but I was paranoid what the nutrition part would teach. I have a B.S. in Health and Human Performance, with an Emphasis in Health Promotion. I worked for several years as a Nutrition Educator. However, fast forward of many years to today, my outlook of nutrition has changed dramatically after struggling with my health, after young son’s bad health, and especially after all of the research I’ve done to re-educate myself throughout the years. My family’s diet has changed a lot and our health has improved. So, I was paranoid this book would promote the MyPlate (or Food Pyramid, as I used to teach), which is why my son and I got so sick. However, this book shocked me! It’s beyond what I expected. It does not promote one way of eating, but is lays out the nutrition basics, while pointed to God’s natural food (vs. man-made foods). Are you vegan? Are you on a Keto diet? Do you follow an animal-based diet? Or do you still eat the Standard American Diet? Well, it doesn’t matter what your answer is! Whatever the answer is, I believe this book will touch you directly and you can take it to the direction you prefer. (And if there is any information you disagree with, it’d be easy to skip or slightly adjust). I’m very pleased. Now, the rest of the book is also well done. This author thought of every direction she could think of, when it comes to health. And I love the exercises we are promoted to do every time (and to get outside and walk with family!). You can do the his book in an half of a year or full year (4 days/week or 2/days). I look forward fitting this curriculum into my home.
5th grader loved it!
Review by Shelley
This was my 10 year old’s favorite subject last year and she’s asked to keep the book to look back at! Her only complaint is that there’s not a 2nd one for her to do!
Awesome
Review by Kala
I have a picky eater and this helped him understand the importance of our diet and exercise, and how it can bring God glory!
Fun book!
Review by Shauna
This is such a fun and educational book. It presents healthy living concepts in bite size and age appropriate chunks. There are many activities that correspond with the topics covered. We are really enjoying this course.
Engaging
Review by Mary Clare
I purchased this course for my 7th grader. My husband overheard us learning together and came and joined in. Then my 11th and 10th grader wanted in on the fun! What started as an individual subject has turned into one of our favorite family activities. Way to go Master Books!! Healthy living for Jesus is so needed in our society and homes.
