Very Useful Tool
Review byEmily
Really impressed with this. The maps are very clear for children, not muddied down with way too many labels. There are so many maps, you could have it opened just about every history lesson to solidify in your student's mind where the event took place. We plan to use it every day this coming school year.

A Great Addition to Our Homeschool
Review byVirginia
The Map Trek Atlas is a great addition to our homeschool! It's a great compliment to the history study we're doing. This comprehensive set includes 160 maps that are divided into 4 categories of maps including The Ancient World, The Medieval World, The New World, and The Modern World. I no longer have to scour the internet looking for maps to go with the lessons I'm teaching.
*I was given a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

MapTrek: Atlas has been a wonderful, easy to use resource for both history and geography. I have the pdf version and it prints off so nice and bright. My kids love to look at maps, so it’s nice to have this resource that encourages map skills, as well as brings that little bit of extra learning and fun to both history and geography. The Atlas for us is a stress free, easy to use resource that my kids actually enjoy using.

The Perfect Map Supplement
Review byBecky V.
Map Trek Atlas is an amazing supplement to have as it includes maps to aid in the study of World and U.S. History. These maps include the four categories of Ancient World, Medieval World, New World, and Modern World. The maps included range from the time of Noah’s descendents all the way to each U.S. state as it is today.
My kids are visual learners, so being able to see a map for each specific time period is key to understanding, and Map Trek Atlas allows for that.
I really appreciate how you can use these maps for all age levels, starting in Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade, either just for exposure or to make deeper connections to the time period being studied.
The maps are simple and labeled clearly, and the colors are distinguished from each other making them easy to read. I would highly recommend Map Trek Atlas to anyone looking to deepen their study of either World or U.S. history.

Spans all age groups!
Review byBrit
The student activity sheets and atlas can be used across your entire age span! With your youngest student you may only point out a specific state, country, or continent. With your middle student add in some city and river names. With your oldest student add in World Empires, battles from the American Civil War, State National Parks and more. This is a resource that will continue to come in handy across their entire secondary education and beyond. I would purchase the hardcopy of the atlas, and the pdf of the student sheets. We have enjoyed the ease of quickly printing off maps that fit in with the America's Story 1 lessons.

Goes very well with other homeschool materials!
Review byKristy
Having a good atlas is hard to come by. Map Trek: Atlas (Map of World & U.S. History) has been such a huge blessing in our homeschool. This year we are studying US History (America's Story 1) with my youngest and World History (World's Story 2) with my two oldest boys. This resource has easily come alongside those history books so we can find areas we are studying.
This atlas covers everything from the time of Noah and the Flood to the Conflict in Iraq in 2003. Some of the major events covered are: Ancient Egypt, Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire, the Viking Expansion, the Reformation, the American Revolution, and the World Wars. This doesn't even begin to name everything in this atlas. The maps are detailed and easy to read and understand.
Sometimes I have come across an atlas that has way too much going on and it is hard to see exactly where something is on it. But, these maps are not cluttered at all and a child of any age can easily use these to find different locations of different historical events.
My boys love maps and adore this book. It gives them a sense that these events in history took place at a real location on the earth. It has helped them to be able to identify these locations and tell others about them.

Great addition to any curriculum!
Review byCrystal
The Map Trek Atlas is such a great addition to any homeschool! The Atlas is laid out based on time period and includes Ancient History, Medieval World, New World, and Modern World. There is a map for so many major events and map changes throughout world and US history, that you’ll easily find ways to incorporate this into whatever history/geography curriculum you’re using.
I frequently find myself referencing the Atlas for visual examples to share while teaching a lesson, since they’re simple, yet descriptive maps. Because the maps are sorted by time period, it’s easy to locate what you’re looking for in the index.
