Beautiful
Review by Teacher Iden
The book Marvels of Creation: Breathtaking Birds (download) includes beautiful pictures of birds from all parts of the world and descriptions. I really like that the picture of the bird lines up with the description on the download when looking at the book on my computer. The pictures are beautiful and show lot of details. For example, the Great horned Owl is shown up close in flight, the Cassowary has a unique head with a horn like helmet which is seen up close in the photo. Also included is a full-size picture of the Cassowary. The author includes nick names for many of the birds, fun facts under “Did you Know?” and Special Design facts. Unlike many nature books the author recognizes that birds are designed by God. The last few pages of the book explain the features of all birds including bones, feathers, bills and more. This is a great book for children studying the 5th day of creation or for facts about birds.
