Customer Reviews
One of the things we enjoyed most are the beautiful illustrations and images, which really help bring historical events and cultures to life for the kids. It makes it much easier for them to connect with what they are learning.
It also works very well as a research resource. When questions come up during lessons, it’s easy to look up topics and get clear explanations and helpful context.
Overall, it’s a great reference book for any homeschool library, especially if you want something that combines solid information with visuals that keep children interested.
creation, dinosaurs, the flood, ice age, oceans, continents, creation versus evolution,
ancient civilizations, and so much more. The pictures are colorfully detailed and include
captions that make it easy to understand exactly what you are seeing. You are going to
get some science and geography mixed in with history as well. The maps as well as
pictures of dinosaurs and ancient civilizations are clear and beautiful. If you are looking
to dig deeper into what your child is learning in ancient history, or you just want them to
have more information from a Biblical worldview then the World History Encyclopedia is
an exact fit. This is the type of book that will be on our shelf to refer to throughout the
years to come.
I grew up being taught history and the Bible separately, always viewing them as two timelines. During my younger schooling years, I could never fully grasp how they merged but knew they did somehow. This book is exactly the tool I need so that same thing doesn’t happen to my kids—I can teach world history and Biblical history as one cohesive story. This is why every Christian home needs this resource!
This is a resource that will bless so many homeschool families. I’m so excited to add it to my own family’s library. I know it will be used frequently. Whether writing a research paper or seeking to discover more about a specific event or person, I’m sure it will be well-loved for many years. I look forward to seeing the rest of the volumes!
