My son finds this to be enjoyable and that's a win for us!!
Simple, short lessons
Review by Elisabeth
With 4 children to teach math to, I appreciate the simplicity of the short lessons. I do sometimes wish the curriculum was less 'wordy' (they have a story each week plus the explanations can be a little lengthy). Other than that, it is doing the job beautifully.
Fun and Engaging Math Lessons with a Biblical Worldview
Review by Kelly Ann
We've been using Math Lessons for a Living Education for two years (both Level 1 and Level 2) and absolutely love this program, since it offers a gentle and thorough approach to mathematics for the early elementary years. There are plenty of activities that cover each mathematical concept being taught in the respective grade level, along with multiple lessons weeks that offer reviews of what was previously covered, so my child is always staying on top of what he's already learned. We enjoy it so much; I just purchased both Levels 3 and 4, because I know this is a program we are definitely sticking with for the long haul. I also recommended the matching (optional) Practice Makes Perfect books, which are fantastic resources to help supplement each Math Lessons for a Living Education program.

Math Level 2
Review by Latoya
My 7 yr old started using this book recently, and has been excited about having a new Math book. I bought the online version because I would have access immediately, and I didnt know how long it would take to ship to Jamaica (due to COVID19), but I really would have preferred the hard copy. So far its going well!
Math
Review by Tianna
The math i struggle with a little bit just because there isn't a lot of instruction on the lesson about what there learning it gives you a little story but not much more then that and then you start to do a math lesson based on that story.
Fun

My daughter was doing a harder math but got frustrated so we switched mid year and she is much happier and wanting to do more math now.
I was wrong
Review by Amanda
I thought this book was too easy until we took a standardized test! Don't let simplicity fool you. My daughter did amazing on her tests.
We are hooked!

My kids love math lessons! The lessons are short and engaging, but effective. Most of the manipulatives needed are right inside the book.

I absolutely love this math for my daughter. It has a much gentle approach, which she needs. She is finally starting to retain what she is being taught. I am enjoying the math manipulatives that we have made and the other hands on stuff we have done. My daughter is loving the Place Value Village. This math has been such a breath of fresh air! No more tears. My daughter actually looks forward to doing school now. Thank you Masterbooks. We love your math program.
