We passed state testing!
Review by Stacey M
I wasn’t sure how well my girls were doing, it’s always hard to be confident until we do state testing. But both girls, who would say they don’t love math, passed their 3rd grade state testing just fine. They don’t have aspirations that would require a high level of math skill, so for us, this series has been perfect. It’s fairly light and fun. It’s the only thing we’ve ever used.
Open and go
Review by Maggie
I love MB math for many reasons. I love how it's open and go, like most of their subjects. The lessons are short and sweet, but also throw in review, which my daughter needs. If she is struggling with anything, it's easy for me to take a extra day to do extra work on our end, and make up my own problems. We like to do a extra page, so we don't have to do school on Fridays, and you are able to do it with this!
Deaf Friendly
Review by Kara
My son is Deaf and this book was very visual and had great resources to learn math concepts that he had struggled with in the public school system. He used to hate math until we used this book, by mid-year math was his favorite subject!
Great course
Review by Ana
This is a great course. The only thing that we've had to adjust is how fast the multiplication is taught, but we kept going and practiced with flash cards. If we needed to slow down a bit, we did that, too. In other words, I had to adjust for my student. But great, overall!
Great Math Structure
Review by Reed Academy
I really enjoy how Master Books Math uses a spiral version of teaching. It helps me know what my boys understand compared to what they just learned at the moment, and it reinforces what they have learned.
Love This!
Review by Sarah
We recently switched to *Math Lessons for a Living Education: Level 3*, and I couldn't be happier with the change! My kids were feeling overwhelmed with our previous curriculum, as it was so busy and difficult for them to navigate without my constant direction. There were too many distractions on each page, which made it hard for them to focus and feel confident in their math skills.

This new curriculum is such a relief! It’s much more streamlined, easy to follow, and truly “open and go.” My kids are able to work through the lessons with much less assistance, and they’re more confident in their learning. Additionally, I love that this curriculum incorporates Biblical values throughout. That was something we felt was lacking in our previous curriculum, and it's so refreshing to see these important values woven into the lessons in such a natural way.

We are so happy with our decision to switch to Master Books and are excited to continue using *Math Lessons for a Living Education*. It’s been a great fit for our family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more straightforward, faith-centered approach to math.
We LOVE this curriculum!
Review by Melissa
The short lessons have been a game changer! My child’s confidence and love for math has grown!
Saved us
Review by Maddy
My middle child was struggling. We weren't getting any work done. I tried so much. When we decide to finally give Master Books a try it was an answer to our prayers.
However, we skip the story sometimes.
We like that it's open and go short lessons. We also purchased the extra help. My son sometimes will even do an extra lesson now.
Excellent!
Review by Amiller
We’re just wrapping up this book and my daughter has truly mastered the concepts. MB took the stress out of math for us, so that my daughter can learn.
It works!
Review by Amy
My child no longer hates math or struggles with it to the point of tears!
