Great Start to Math!
Review by Sarah
My son enjoyed this book as a way to begin learning to write his numbers and count. It created number sense and a great foundation for future learning.
Perfect first math book
Review by Laura
My newly turned 5 yr old has been begging to get her own math book for a while. She is so excited about her fishy math book! It is wonderful to be able to provide her with such a basic foundational curriculum that won’t overwhelm her at her young age. It teaches the concepts in a fun way that grasps a young mind’s attention without overwhelming them.
Excellent introduction
Review by Judith
My 3.5 year old son is so eager to join in lessons, I bought this to break him in gently. It’s perfect! He loves it, it’s short and sweet and introduces and reinforces the beginnings of mathematics knowledge. I am so thankful to have found Master Books! He now knows basic shapes and is practicing counting and number recognition to 10. He’s learning more about seasons and the calendar.
If I decide to repeat it, as he’s pretty young, I have every confidence he would be happy to do it all over again!
Fun and Simple

This is my daughter's favorite book. She can't wait to do it everyday! It is a nice easy approach to starting math and consistently builds at a gentle pace.

Fishy Fun
Review by Amy Tirado
this is perfect for my daughter she's an early math prodigy (32 months) and already can glance at something and tell you how many there are. She even adds. She doesn't write her numbers yet but she knows them all. This is great to provide her more of a foundation and build her skills up more. This is also great because she loves the stories and we do special activities to go alongside :)

Gentle Introduction to Math
Review by Theresa
We have now used all the levels of this curriculum, and it's worked really well for our family. (I recommend taking the placement test to know which level to start with.)

This one gently introduces numbers, colors, shapes, observation skills (similarities/differences), copying, creativity, sequencing, and even life skills. The colorful layout and stories keep it fun, and everything is applicable to real life. I also love the teacher suggestions for accompanying activities.
Gentle, Living Maths book
Review by Love2BeMom
This is a living math book for kindergarten. It is not just a book with pretty colours, but it has stories that the child can relate to and it shows how to apply math in real life. The lessons are short, 1 page a day with 1 story a week. It covers counting and number recognition from 0-10, nature, sequencing, symmetry, differences, measuring and cooking, opposites and so much more.
This is perfect for kindergarten and even younger advanced students who want to do schoolwork like big brother or sister do. I highly recommend this gentle maths program.
