    Recently, my wife gifted this journal that she thought I would enjoy using. I have been very pleased with it and thought that I would share what I know and how I feel about the journal. I am a fountain pen user and usually have a hard time finding a quality journal with paper that takes pen ink well. The pages in this journal take fountain pen ink very well with no discernable bleed through or feathering. I have used Mont Blanc black, Private Reserve burgundy mist, and Levenger cobalt blue with very satisfactory results. Pen nibs have varied between medium and stub with ink flows of about 4 or 5. The paper is super smooth which makes writing on it a dream. Ink is absorbed quickly and drying time is very minimal bleed through or feathering.     I bought a bunch of these to give as graduation gifts. Perfect for students to keep as a prayer journal, notes on Bible reading, or to take to college! Nice quality, great price!
