Do miracles happen in our time? Did they ever happen? And if the answer is yes, is any explanation possible? The key might lie in the fact that miracles are in the world, but not of the world. Leading Bible scholar Henry Morris reflects his deep love for the Bible by exploring recorded miracles, and shedding some light on miracles that occur today. From the feeding of many with just a few fish, to a discussion of today’s healing miracles, Morris examines the following:

  • Why many scientists dismiss miracles
  • People who are convinced miracles happened to them
  • The truth about “modern” miracles
  • Can prayer bring about miracles?
Inspirational
Review by thatbaldchick
Miracles, by Henry Morris, is an inspirational read. In this book, Henry Morris explains why science often discounts the veracity of miracles, then shares miracles from his personal life. He does also share the miracle of regeneration (i.e. salvation) which makes this book a quick but valuable read.

I received this free ebook for my honest opinion.
Interesting Read
Review by Lexie
The author has spoken on miracles and was inspired to write this book through the urging of his son and an accident in which he felt had a miraculous result. He defines a miracle as something outside of our natural laws and processes and breaks this down into more specific points. Specific examples are given of miracles, and a section is devoted to discerning true versus false miracles. I found this to be an easy read. It was simple enough to easily pick up from where I had previously left off, yet engaging enough to want to keep going.

Miracle by Henry M. Morris
This is a book about miracles of the Bible. It is a very useful book, but it is his testimony rather than a critique of miracles. It talks about his own life when he thought it was a miracle. He also breaks them down into categories a, b, and c. That way one can determine which one it is. It only has nine chapters along with a foreword and introduction. It also gives you the suggested reading further into the topic, an index, and an index of scripture.
I received this free ebook for my honest opinion.
