Customer Reviews
As to the audiobook, it is very understandable, but it does blend paragraphs and thoughts together. For example, each chapter starts with the missionaries name, a verse, and important locations in their life. It is hard to tell when a verse stops or ends and whether the description of the town is the town just named or the town about to be named. Some towns are mispronounced, for example Edinburgh. Since it was an important location in the story of Eric Liddell the name of the town was said multiple times.
My son does like to listen to the audio as he follows along in the book. (He has mentioned the wrong name thing as well.)
Good stories, but the audio is a supplement and I don't see it as a stand alone away from the reading book (digital or physical).
