A.My Story is designed as a complete K–2 journey, so starting with Level K gives your child the fullest experience. That said, each level stands on its own. A first grader who missed Level K can start with Level 1 without missing prerequisite content, and Level 2 works the same way. The best guide is the free sample pages: download them for any level you're considering to see if the content and writing expectations feel right for your child.
A. Yes, and it's one of the series' strengths. My Story is designed with the one-room schoolhouse in mind. Families have successfully combined children ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade using this series. The companion audiobook adds another layer of flexibility: one child can listen independently while the parent works one-on-one with another.
