Eirene (Greek), pronounced I-ray-nay, meaning: peace, prosperity, quietness, rest, or to be set at one with yourself again.

Maybe we have reason to despair when a historian has pointed out that about 85 percent of all human history concerns itself with war and conflict - personal, national, or worldwide. But into this cynical, weary, war-torn, strife-filled world there is a positive message in regards to peace and the author of peace: "For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Isa. 9:6)! Peace has come even into the midst of war.

But the fruit of the spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.... - Galations 5:22–23

In these Bible studies from best-selling author Robert Strand, you will learn about yourself and how to relate to others as you gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be in Christ.

I give 5 stars!
Review by Jessica
Although I just got this book, I review it as a 5. I have 3 girls and I think this is written in a way for children to understand and learn that Jesus Christ is our peace. This book is going to be fun to do our morning quiet time. I’m very thankful that we have it! Thank you Master Books!
Immensely Enjoyed
Review by Patricia
This book has been a blessing to an elderly lady that recently moved into a nursing home facility. I've been blessed going through this with her as she transitioned and struggled with peace. As a homeschool mom I am using the Fruit of the Spirit series as a part of our bible/character curriculum this year. I do encourage you to read over the material first and choose the components for the age of your child. I loved the scriptures utilized and the hymn that was included in this peace book. I highly recommend it. Thank you!
Reference
Review by Nancy
I think this one is a good reference because of some it does not follow the rest of the book series. If you are using as a morning basket, preview this book before reading to your kids. However, if you are reading with a high schooler there can be opportunities for some good discussions.
Pretty good
Review by Natalie
This book explores peace with God, ourselves, and others. There are definitely parts that are geared more toward adults. Overall, a great lesson on peace.
Not This One
Review by Nay
We have read the love book in this series and I really like it. This one is not for use. I was using these in our morning basket for the kids. The author quoted Charles Manson, and Stephen King to prove the point that peace can only be found in Christ and studied in the Bible. I do not want to explain to my children who Charles Manson is. They don't watch secular movies had have no idea who Stephen King is. The quotes were a little creepy too. My husband read it and shared it with me before we shared it with the kids. I am so glad we reviewed this one first. We will not be reading it to the children. Overall, I think the series is better for adults or high school students. I would not recommend the Peace book at all.
Use as a guide
Review by Heidi
Is good to use as a helping guide. I can't say I agree 100% with it, "angels", but again, a good guide to help study peace.
Slightly different from the rest in the series
Review by Karie
This volume is a little hard to follow at the beginning, but comes back to the topic as you go. The other books in this series tend to have a flowing progression, building the readers' understanding of the truth at hand. This one did seems more choppy, however, like all the other "fruit" studies, there is a good section of personal application of things learned.
