More Information
Improve penmanship while memorizing and applying the words of Jesus through engaging, Scripture-based activities.
More than just a handwriting workbook, Little Scribes: Practicing Penmanship with Scripture teaches students to approach God’s Word with the same reverence and care as the biblical scribes. This handwriting curriculum transforms handwriting practice into an act of worship. As children carefully write the words of Jesus, they develop spiritual discipline and attentiveness, build confidence in their writing, and cultivate a personal connection with God’s Word.
Each lesson blends handwriting, Bible memory, and hands-on application to help kids truly hide Scripture in their hearts (Psalm 119:11)—building both skill and faith at the same time.

....However, I do like this as a Bible supplement. Some things covered as part of the copy work are: how to write out a Bible verse reference, a prayer journal, words of Christ are printed in red like they are in many Bibles, topics such as godly character and sharing the Gospel, etc. In that respect, it's very good. I would also say that a child who can read can probably do it independently for the most, if not the entire, part. Which frees up mom's time .
From a parent perspective, this should follow using A to Zoo as to practice the writing skills they have already learned. This doesn't teach writing skills but gives the student further practice in the skills they have already learned. Every assignment gives the student a Bible verse to trace and then copy, with an additional fun activity. My daughter preferred some activities over others. Some of these activities are coloring pages, but some are crossword puzzles or making and using a prayer journal. (Not a Bible study or a devotional book, but can open up some good discussions by talking about what verse they are "scribing" that day.)
I loved how simple it was for my as a mom to implement.
I love that it takes the words from the New Testament/Jesus words!
I also like the fact that there’s some activities that help with correct pencil grip but it’s something fun and not just copying words.
Being only a couple days a week makes it a totally doable addition to your Homeschool day and it does not wear out the kids too much and makes it something to look forward to instead of dreaded.
I highly recommend this new resource!
