Wow!!! Amazing read!!

I’m half way through reading this and I’m blown away. The beginning of the book is intense. I appreciate the author sharing his testimony of how he and his wife found healing, and shifted their marriage focus to the Lord. I agree with another reviewer that this book is a very easy and nice read. I appreciate that. I love the biblical connections and references. I don’t have a lot of free time and it’s nice to be able to pick this up and read the ties to the Scripture. This would be a great book to include in a morning devotion.

The title made me think this was a marriage book, but anyone who wants to understand how prayer works and why we should pray will find this guide helpful. If you have ever wondered the reasons for prayer and whether our prayers actually ‘influence’ God, then this book is a great resource!

This book has been a treasure trove for me! It has and is helping me see my relationship with God, (the Father, Jesus my Bridegroom, and the Holy Spirit) from a better perspective. There is soooo much more intimacy that the Lord desires to have with us than we generally think! This book will help with your relationship with God as well as your spouse!! If both of you can read, do so!!

I enjoyed reading this with my husband. The author's writing style is very easy to read, and we felt challenged to grow in our prayer life. We find we include worship time in our prayers so much more now!

Lovely book

I got this book on flash sale. It caught my eye cause a lot of kids my kids went to public school with before removing them had divorced parents. Over half of each class was. That’s a crazy number. I also had a couple friends going through divorce. This book really opened our eyes that we need to add prayers for our marriage along with everything else. It’s so easy to lose ourselves as a partnership in this crazy busy world.
