    Not being a math guru I am thankful for the text to go along with the work book. We also use the academy videos to help explain the lessons. My daughter does most of her work independently but there have been a couple lessons that I've needed to help with. The videos have been a life saver. Lots of review at the beginning of the book and plenty of problems to work through to make sure students are retaining the information.

    I like the way this workbook is put together! It is easy to follow and has everything my son needs to go with POM1 in one place. I like that the workbook is separated from the main text, so I can reuse the text book in the future and will only need to repurchase this workbook.

    The perfect amount of work

    We used this book in conjunction with the workbook. This book contains all the daily questions as well as the quizzes and tests. I found that this book had an appropriate amount of work. Along with the reading, he was able to complete math every day in about 30-40 minutes. Just the right amount of time without getting overwhelmed or being done too quickly. He did find some concepts challenging, but we worked through them.
