I was so impressed with how this curriculum taught important skills to my child. This included life skills, as well as school skills. My son loved the book. It has been a great start to school for him!

Foundational & easy to implement
Review byLaura
This is a wonderful low prep Kindergarten curriculum. It covers many basics & foundations that are not only essential for learning but also for life. I love that the prep page tells you the supplies as well as having an overview of the week’s lessons. My daughter is very excited to start school with her older sister!

An answered prayer
Review byTabitha
So glad to have found this curriculum Our 6.5 year old son had 1 year of head start, 1 year of pre-k, going on his 2nd year of kindergarten when we Adopted him. I knew I would need to homeschool him at some point I just didn’t think it would be within 2 weeks from adopting him. When I pulled him from kindergarten he knew 4 letters. Today he knows most of them he gets a few confused but that’s perfectly normal. He has made such progress. We started this in December and it’s April and we only have 3-4 lessons left!

Definitely Simple
Review byAmy Tirado
I do like the overall structure of the book. I am taking it out of context though because we don't teach the alphabet in order, especially with handwriting. Overall it's a great book for anyone looking to jump-start their kid into an early childhood education... my daughter is 2.5 and is already zooming through it. I like how it flows with the other curriculum parts as well so it's easy to use all together.

Good approach
Review byChar
We are really enjoying this curriculum. I like that it is scripted out and includes life skills. I like the authors method of learning the alphabet and my son is excited when it's his turn to read his book.

Pretty good
Review byYulia
This curriculum is wonderful but I think, I had different expectation of what it will deliver. I love the Bible, life skills and rhymes, I just wish there were more ideas for games to truly make it k level as I envisioned it. I don’t think it’s the author’s problem, just the way it was advertised, it gave me different expectation of what it would be. My K level son had mixed feelings about it at first but he enjoyed it now (he is more hands on). Thank you for providing us with such wonderful tool. I think my second child will enjoy it better: it will fit her learning style more.

Great Variety of Activities
Review byTheresa
My favorite parts of this curriculum are the hand motions (pictures/descriptions) for memorizing Bible verses, the mini books (a single word at a time for each letter sound), and the activities. I didn’t use curriculum with my older kids when they were this age because I couldn’t find anything I liked. It’s really nice to have early learning activities in one collection, especially with nursery rhymes/poems, and life skills/safety topics that are easy to overlook.
The only downside for me is that I learned (thus teach) to make some of the letters differently on the penmanship portion (including A, E, G, M, N, Y). It makes it a little confusing when I correct the arrows. Nevertheless, it’s a great curriculum for the preschool/Kindergarten ages (depending on the kids’ readiness for structured learning).

A great start
Review byAmy
I like the Simply K curriculum, but I think it is geared more toward pre k level. It is scripted so you know what exactly what to say. We are mainly using it for writing the letter of the week, bible , and life skills.
