A Great Addition to Any Home Library
Review by Virginia
The Spurgeon Series: 1857 & 1858 is a great addition to any home library. This book is 860 pages and includes many of Charles Spurgeon's in-depth sermons updated into modern language. Charles Spurgeon was a masterful orator and theologian and this book preserves that mastery while making his sermons accessible in contemporary English. My only complaint is that there is not a table of contents or index to enable the reader to quickly search for a specific sermon or topic.
Loved it
Review by Ashley
As in the previous books this is well-written as well. There is no table of contents I really enjoyed reading this book. Reading the sermons that were given way back when is a blessing to see how things were done back then and comparing them to now. It is pretty much the same besides the different in the time.
Wonderful biblical Resource
Review by Kathleen C
The sermons of Charles Spurgeon from 1857 to 1858. This book has taken his sermons and translated them into modern English.
This book has 860 pages of in-depth sermons. Charles Spurgeon was blessed with the ability to deliver an amazing gospel-centered message each week. I am grateful that I am able to read some of them here.

This book would be a great addition to your home library.
