Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Apostle Paul (Colossians 3:16)
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John the Apostle (John 15:7)
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Customer Reviews
There are a number of suggestions for memorization given in the introductory materials. At the end, you have a total of seven appendices which give you some suggestions for passages to memorize (Seven Short Scriptures, Sin to Salvation in Ten Verses, Popular New Testament Chapters, important New Testament Verses) and give information about memorization.
I really appreciated the appendix about popular New Testament chapters.
This is a fantastic resource, and I am accomplishing at least some memorization by using it. I do play to get my kids involved too, once we get back to school.

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalms 119:105
Memorization is still a lot of work, even with a special Bible! The author (who has memorized 20+ full books of the Bible without having a photographic memory!) suggests repetition in speaking and writing one verse at a time, while isolating it on the page. What makes this Bible unique is its special format. Words are specifically aligned on the page in a way that aids the memory process, and numbers are used to specify how many words per each line. This arrangement would be difficult to self-replicate with another version of the Bible unless you understood the pattern and had extra energy toward custom formatting.
I also appreciate that popular Scriptures are highlighted throughout, and enjoyed reading the appendices, which includes lists of short memory verses, sin to salvation verses, significant verses, popular NT chapters, memorizing techniques in Judaism and Christianity, and (my favorite) a fascinating summary of the historical development of Bible memorization, depicting the practices of many believers and scholars throughout history who memorized large portions of Scriptures.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Master Books.
This year, our study of the Bible will be intentional, and this resource will be an excellent and welcome addition.
Professor Meyer provides the science behind and clear instruction regarding memorization for long term recall, which is something I desperately desire for my daughter. Each chapter of the New Testament has a brief foreword, which provides interesting information regarding the chapter, including its author and its purpose (I LOVE this). Each verse is then broken down into his memorization formula. Lastly, there are several appendices including lists of verses for memorization and the historical development of Bible memorization.
I am so thankful that God orchestrated my finding of this resource. I am looking forward to using it in conjunction with a few other selections to create a meaningful and intentional Bible Study with my daughter this year.
The Memorization Bible is the KJV of the New Testament. Mr. Meyer has organized verses to begin, where possible, with conjunctions or prepositions. There are brief, yet concise, directions explaining how to best memorize for long term memory storage. Emphasis is also placed on writing out the verses with a set number of words per line and incorporating both oral and written recitation. Devoting time and energy to this process is a given, but what a gift!
As I age, I feel less capable of memorizing anything significant, yet, this method gives me hope. As both a homeschool parent and Sunday school teacher, I want to memorize God’s Word alongside our children. I tape weekly verses on the window to review while washing dishes, cut strips of verses to use as bookmarks,...whatever will remind me. I look forward to trying this scientific method of memorization with myself, family, and Sunday School class. The best part is, it's another way to immerse oneself in God's Word and hide it in your heart.
