I learned the pledge of allegiance in elementary school and said it every single morning at school and NEVER learned story behind it. I never understood what the words I repeated everyday meant. When I started homeschooling I knew I wanted to do better. I was excited to learn and teach the important things I didn't. I bought this to educate myself and look forward to reading it to my kids also. I know my kids will LOVE all the colorful pictures in this book!

I didn't expect this book to be so small but it's great! I've used this as a read aloud for our group basket that we do daily. Its perfect and my kids are interested in the info included...I also have learned some new information from this.

History!!

My kids were first in public school before homeschooling and they know the pledge but they have no clue of the true meaning behind it. This is going to be a great addition to your morning basket. It’s set up in Chapters so it won’t be too much info at one time!
