Our favorite series
Great guide that supports student book excellently!

I purchased the items separately as a download so that I could download worksheets again for siblings who took the course later. The activity pages are great and allow for application of the content learned in the student book. Due to the amount of writing involved in the activity pages, I used the writing assignments from the teacher guide as part of their language curriculum to cover two skills with one assignment.
Awesome resource

I bought two of these, so each of my boys would have their own copy. The teacher's guide has all the questions, timelines, assignments, etc. There is so much information and it is laid out very well. I especially like the timeline reviews and the mapwork. This is an excellent history resource, and I recommend that each student have their own copy, if teaching multiple kids at once.
Love the text, the teacher guide could be improved though.

Coming to the end of the 3rd book now, and have loved all 3 of the texts. I'm not a huge fan of the teacher guide & schedule. My kid hates to write, and this requires a lot of that. We adjust that part for our family, but I also use it to push him. It can sometimes be a struggle, but I have seen growth in his writing over the years of working through this series.
I would prefer there to be more fill in the blank, multiple choice, and matching to give a little more variety to the question styles.

My son used this last year we did the alternative assignment it was a lot of review from what he learned in public school so I also added extra research and he would talk about it for several minutes
Perfect set up

The way this is all laid out takes so much stress away from having to plan lessons. We both have a clear view of what needs to be done and that makes for an easier lesson every time.
Great Assignments

This was a great workbook. She was able to review what she was reading, while also being able to express her creativity.
plan to use for all of my kids

My daughter enjoys what she is reading, and is also challenged. I feel 8th grade should be quite a "step up" in work load..to prepare for high school. This was just that!
Easy to use!

My daughter and I love that this teacher guide tells us exactly what we are supposed to do each day! I also like the variety of exercises and worksheets. This is a great resource and a blessing to our home.
Great resource

Excellent world history with a biblical worldview. Teachers guide has great worksheets that help concrete what students are learning. Would definitely recommend using both together. Daily lesson plan, suggested reading list and everything needed to make teaching an open and go easy experience. Love this!
