Customer Reviews
Her favorite parts were:
1. The amazing Map graphics showing the first people groups in America, the time in history each area of the US gained statehood, and much much more!
2. The profiles of and quotes from each president and when they served, including Donald Trump's current term.
3. The tastefully arranged color-filled elements on the page. Each page is packed with information without being overly cluttered.
4. The multiple color coded streams of history .
I am looking forward to getting the physical copy once it is released because we have several of the other Big Books that fold out and I know the PDF is no comparison. However, having the PDF has been handy to have to zoom in and focus on certain events . I have often wished for a resource like this and I know it will be used often in our home alongside Master Books' other amazing resources!
I would prefer it as a physical book due to the size. When printed the font is very small. However, when casting to a TV, it is excellent and all 3 of my kids can see it at the same time.
I look forward to using it as a review for my older 2, and all throughout my daughter's study of America's Story!
My favorite part is the all the visual maps of different events, starting with the Native Americans that came over from after the tower of Babel and where they settled. (As seen in the sample.) Then the maps show how the United States were explored, settled, and how it grew. It was fun to see how each state became a state in map form.
That was my favorite part of the timeline. The colorful pictures were my sons favorite. As a visual learner it helped him see history and what event happened before what, and with the pictures. There's also at the top what president was in office in what point in history.
It was a very well encompassing resource that can be used when studying American History.
As someone who loves the flexibility of PDF'S I do recommend this resource as a physical book. Even printed out, the text is small as it is designed for a physical book larger than a size of paper.
