Timeline of the Revolution (Teacher Guide)

Love that I was able to buy another teacher guide at a fair price for teaching two kids at once. I love the Christian perspective as well.

My son loves learning about the American Revolution and has enjoyed learning the timeline of events from a Christian perspective in this book. Thank you Masterbooks for quality Christian material my children enjoy spending time with!

My son (6th) is enjoying this, and the workload seems reasonable. I like that he can do it independently, and the schedule format is easy to follow. We used to do history as a group, but as my students are getting older, I am working towards more independent subjects.

This guide contains a detailed schedule of lessons as well as daily questions to help your child dig deeper into understanding each days reading. It also contains daily projects to give a more personal, hands on learning of each subject.

The Timeline of The Revolution has been a fantastic addition for us. I love that it comes with a flexible schedule. The teacher books features weekly schedules that has two easy-to manage lessons that combine reading, worksheets, and vocabulary-building opportunities. The worksheets aren't long or over-whelming for the students. Of course you can choose to do them orally, or print the pages. If you do decide the print the pages, it's super easy. The worksheets, quizzes and tests are perforated and three-hole punched which makes it easy. Also, I love the flexibility the schedule offers. We use this curriculum four days a week and haven't had trouble at all adjusting the lesson plans to fit our schedule.

Following the Patriotic Song Lyrics is a War of Independence Timeline which is a very nice feature.

Workflow:
Students will read the pages in their book and then complete each section of the Teacher Guide. They should be encouraged to complete as many of the activities and projects as possible. Tests are given at regular intervals with space to record each grade. If used with younger students, they may be given the option of only choosing activities or projects of interest to them and taking open book tests.
All in all we have been very pleased with Timeline of The Revolution curriculum.
