Where Faith Grows Level 2, a unique homeschool Bible curriculum by Master Books, provides you the opportunity to teach the attributes of God and godly character traits to your elementary students. You will guide your student's faith journey through reading aloud, discussion prompts, hands-on activities, memorization, and assignments.
Where Faith Grows becomes a tool in your hand as you lead your child into all God has for them. Level 2 works to continue building on what was covered in Level 1. The purpose of both levels is to create a strong foundation in understanding who God is and how He works in our lives. Within Level 2, you will also see an introduction to basic Bible skills and keeping a prayer journal.
The nature of God is complex. Where Faith Grows Level 2, a Bible curriculum for elementary students, is designed to help you reveal who God is in a way that a child can understand. While learning about specific characteristics of God, your student will also be learning godly character traits.
Your relationship with God and your child will flourish as you take this journey of discipleship together.

Great resource for discipleship
Review byLaura
This is an amazing curriculum to help lay the foundations of Christianity for young kids. I appreciate how many different ways it encourages learning. Not only does this book teach scripture, it goes over character traits and attributes of God. It also teaches how to pray. All of these things are incredibly important to teach our children so they can understand who He is and what our faith is really about.

Fun, Engaging, Christ Centered
Review byDawn
I love this series. We have done level 1 and are excited about level 2. The book is colorful and engaging for students. It includes solid scriptural truths but also fun stories and hands-on activities to keep students engaged.
I appreciate that it is set up for me to do with my children, so that I am discipling them with the book as a resource. It is laid out in such a way as to be open and go and step by step for the parent. There are very few other materials needed and it makes it easy to stay on track.
They have a suggested schedule, but you could also adjust that as needed to work with your family schedule.
It is designed for 2nd grade but because it is done with the parent, it could be used for a variety of elementary grades. We are doing it together with my 3rd grader and Pre-K student. (I would not do it with Pre-K if you were just doing pre-k but I feel like it works when doing it together.)

I love this interactive, fun approach! My kids loved the level one and were so excited to start the next book. This offers a way to introduce and explore topics of faith in a way that kids can easily grasp and understand.

Where Faith Grows: Level 2
Review bySantina
Where Faith Grows: Level 2 is an effective and fun way to disciple to your children. This is definitely a step up from Level 1. I appreciate the bonus activities which encourage students not only to apply their knowledge, but to share it with others.

Faith Grows At Home
Review byBecky V
I was so excited when I saw that Level 2 of Where Faith Grows was being released. As a big fan of Level 1, we grabbed this the first chance we got! Where Faith Grows has been a favorite in our family; it is always the first thing that the kids want to do each day. And I personally love the growth that I have seen in my kids with this series.
Level 2 of Where Faith Grows is written at a second grade level and includes a suggested schedule that is three days a week over 36 weeks. It includes a supplies list and most can be found around the house. At the back of the book, a prayer journal is included as well as an enrichment tool for each lesson. I absolutely love these tools that go along with this course.
Some stand-outs for me are as follows:
As one who does as much family learning as possible, I have found this to be very flexible in adapting to different ages and levels of learning even though it is written for second graders. We have used this for my kids spanning ages of 4 to 8.
The Enrichment: Growing in Skills tool. Don't forget that this is at the back of the book! We have loved learning the books of the Bible using this tool. We pulled these pages out and made it a little book. We also did that with the prayer journal pages, pulling the pages and making it an actual journal. My kids have loved looking back at their prayer journals.
As much as we loved Level 1, we absolutely love how Level 2 is set up. It follows a different family and isn't as scripted as Level 1. It still has some scripting and guides you very well in discipling your children, but I found the style in this level is much easier for us.
Once again, I really appreciate the focus on character traits and attributes of God. I love how this course helps you to guide your child at a level that they can understand. It is amazing the conversations that have been had as we have gone through this course.
I am so thankful for this series and would absolutely recommend it to every family. Start your kids young. Don't wait. Be intentional in the discipling of your children.

Wonderful Bible curriculum for discipleship
Review byYulia
Where The Faith Grows level 2 is an amazing way to not only study the Bible, but to have dedicated time to spend discipling our children.
We are going through level 1 right now, and my kids are enjoying it! I would say that level 2 is more challenging and improved which is good because it helps kids grow. I like the new things level 2 has to offer:
--Special time to learn how to use Bible and to memorize Bible books in Enrichment: growing in skills section;
-- The new memorization time is presented as a challenge with Mr. Luke.
--Journal for prayers,
--A special place like poster for gluing characteristics of God to create a visual poster for kids to see and remember Who God is.
--And a timeline.
It is a wonderful curriculum series, and we are excited to dig in into level 2 soon!
Level 1 is wonderful; level 2 is even better! Thank you Masterbooks, you have delivered it again!

Excellent Elective
Review byLaurie
The author of the Where Faith Grows series has a kind and gentle approach to teaching children the basic foundations of the Christian faith.
In the book, you follow along with a family (Mr. Luke, Ms. Beth, and their children named Andrew and Sarah). To learn character traits such as I can be loving, I can be kind, I can be joyful, and more. As well as many of God's great attributes.
This course would make an extraordinary elective for your children even if they are below second-grade level or if you want a group elective for early elementary students.

Great curriculum to help your kids learn the traits of God
Review byCrystal
This is such a great curriculum for second graders to learn alongside parents. It has a wonderful focus on the traits of God as well as the character traits that we can aspire to with the help of the Holy Spirit.
With a fun mix of written and hands on activities, this curriculum is enjoyable while also having a good depth of study. I especially love the focus on scripture memorization and learning to apply what is learned through scripture.

kids love this course
Review byAshley
This is a wonderful addition to my student’s Bible curriculum. We are completing level one, and looking forward to start level 2. The difference between the two is that there is a little more writing in level 2 than in level 1. This course uses the other two Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers. It teaches kids about God and what he stands for. It equips the parents to teach their kids in discipleship. It picks up where the first book left off. It includes 18 lessons, each lesson is covered in a 2 week span. One thing I love about it is that throughout the course there are puzzle pieces that the student colors and puts together as they work through the course and by the end the puzzle is complete. There are also mini books throughout the course that the students get to color and cut out. It also includes mazes, crosswords, copy work, word searches, hymn, Journal this section, time line and an answer key.
As a family we love this course.

We enjoyed this!
Review byLexie
This book goes through spiritual truths and makes them fun. The book is centered around a family with the mom and the dad leading you through learning character traits and attributes of God. Each section has a fun activity to relate what is going on and make it hands on (like a scavenger hunt to an experiment). The student also spends time creating a prayer journal.
