Woke Injustice by Bryan Osborne takes a deep dive into the pervasive influence of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and its growing presence in every facet of society, including the church. Far from being a neutral or helpful analytical tool, CRT is a dangerous ideology that seeks to divide and destroy, operating under the guise of social justice and equity. Osborne exposes the true nature of CRT, revealing it as a system designed to undermine biblical truth, disrupt the unity of the church, and reshape society according to a new, unbiblical standard.

Tracing the roots and evolution of CRT, Osborne demonstrates how this ideology has spread far beyond academia, seeping into schools, corporations, media, and even Christian institutions. Through deceptive language and redefined concepts like "whiteness," "privilege," and "racism," CRT advances an agenda that is fundamentally at odds with the gospel. It promotes division and discord, leading to a fractured understanding of identity, justice, and reconciliation within the church.

Osborne's book is both an urgent warning and a practical guide for Christians who seek to stand against the tide of CRT and its destructive influence. By meticulously unpacking the core principles of CRT and comparing them with the truth of Scripture, he provides readers with the knowledge and tools needed to discern and counter this dangerous ideology. The book's thorough analysis of key concepts, such as "white fragility" and "anti-racism," alongside a strong biblical framework, equips believers to engage with the cultural challenges of today without compromising their faith.

Woke Injustice is more than just a critique; it’s a call to action for the church to reaffirm its commitment to the sufficiency of Scripture and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Osborne’s passion for equipping the body of Christ shines through as he offers hope and clarity, urging believers to reject the divisive lies of CRT and to stand firm in the unchanging truth of God's Word. For anyone concerned about the future of the church and society, this book is an essential resource, providing a clear path back to the gospel and the true justice found in Christ alone.

“I am astonished that you are…turning to a different gospel” (Galatians 1:6). The early church faced the same problems we do today—false teaching that morphs the true gospel into a different gospel altogether, a gospel Paul says isn’t a gospel at all! Wokeism and social justice are some of today’s pervasive false teachings that threaten the church. In this book, Bryan has done a skillful job exposing this compromise and returning Christians to the truth and authority of God’s Word.

Ken Ham — CEO/founder of Answers in Genesis, Creation Museum, and Ark Encounter

Critical Race Theory and its various companions in the “woke” worldview are taking the West by storm, ushering in a new post-Christian era. Bryan has written a gospel-focused, relevant, and enlightening guidebook for the Christian who wants to maintain “transformed” rather than “conformed” thinking (Rom 12:2) in this new world. This is essential knowledge.

Martyn Iles — Answers in Genesis Executive CEO

The underlying agenda of Critical Theory has been sealed behind the moat of obscure jargon and flown under the banner of justice. Inquiries at her towers are promptly restrained by pawns armed with cancel culture. This highly guarded social movement compels the use of “newspeak” wherein any nonconformity is an oppressor’s admission. Osborne’s Woke Injustice carefully extinguishes the heat and defangs the rhetoric of the debate by exposing the unbiblical and ultimately unjust aims of Social Justice. He proves how Scripture offers the only leveling ground, and justification by faith lived out biblically is the only path to any true justice in our lost world.

Joe Owen — AiG Latin America Director and Speaker

Terms like woke, CRT, social justice, equity, etc. fill headlines spelling doom and gloom for those who don’t embrace their supposed reality and live out these new “truths.” Sadly, many Christians have bowed the knee, made apologies, and denied the truth of God’s Word beginning in Genesis. Woke Injustice is a toolbox for Christians to equip them to discern wrong thinking, defend biblical truth, and most importantly speak the truth in love. Bryan unpacks the ideas of the cultural left with clarity and hope pointing to the all-sufficient God and His Word.

A Much Needed Resource for the Christian's Library
Review by Michael
Woke Injustice - A Biblical Response to Critical Race Theory, is a much-needed resource for the Christian’s library. Bryan Osborne does an excellent job communicating the details of CRT and Critical Social Justice (CSJ) topics. Having read other great books on this topic, I think Woke Injustice stands out for providing a more concise discussion about the topic and compressed explanation of the terms (but balanced with thoroughness) surrounding the ideology. Critical Theory (CT) topics can be hard to understand sometimes and there are so many wickets with the topic that it can leave the reader confused and their head spinning. Bryan though presents the topics in a clear way and provides plenty of detail to understand the basics (and then some). I like how Bryan references founders and supporters of CRT directly and analyzes their statements from a Biblical Worldview. I also appreciate references to recent events surrounding CRT. Most importantly, Bryan shows how CRT/CSJ/CT is anti-biblical and how the ideology has no place in a Christian’s life. Bryan shows a better way which is the sufficiency of the Word of God. Bryan presents various scriptures to counter the CRT claims which helps equip the Christian with information to identify the errors of CRT. Bryan does this in a God-honoring and God-loving way. As I think about the things Bryan shared in the book, I can only imagine the types of comments he will receive as he uncovers the truth about CRT. I am thankful Bryan had the courage to write this book and I pray it will be used to help more people understand the dangers of CRT and how to share the truth with grace, love and words seasoned with salt.
Eye opening
Review by Yulia
Woke Injustice is a through book explaining the root of the Critical Race Theory and the divisiveness it brings to our world. The author goes in detail presenting history and foundation of this bias "theory". I already knew a good amount of truth behind this theory, but it was a truly eye opening experience to read this book. This is so needed and so timely especially this time of elections. It's Biblically based and very easy to read. I highly recommend this book.
Timely and meaningful
Review by Dustie
This is such a timely book. It is not a long read, but it is filled to the brim with of biblical wisdom in an age of confusion. The author points the reader back to scripture for answers. He stands on the principles of truth that are presented in scripture to show what real justice and equality is and is not. What a bold call to Christians everywhere wake up and view current events in light of God’s Word rather than man’s! Bryan Osborne presents the beautiful truth that we are all God’s image bearers and that our physical differences are a reflection of the Creator’s vast creativity. All prejudices and racism are a result of sinful pride. I highly recommend this book as a way to equip oneself with truth.
