Great Tool
Review by Kristal
I wanted a timeline book that we could use as a master family timeline. It was really nice and exactly what I was looking for. It is a large book, so it gives plenty of space to write. It's divided into four time periods. I also liked that we were able to write in our own important dates that pertained to our family. It's turned out to be quite the special book and one I hope we keep adding to in the years to come.
Wonderful Timeline Resource
Review by Rebecca
This is an extremely affordable history timeline resource for use with any history curriculum (homeschool, public school, college, etc.) to better gain an understanding of the history narrative as a seamless story. The book is broken up into four major timeframe sections that correlate to many popular four year history cycles. For reference, this resource breaks them up as such: Ancient (4004 BC - AD 400), Medieval (AD 400 - 1600), New World (AD 1600 - 1850), Modern (AD 1850 - Present). Each section starts with a list of commonly studied important dates/events for reference then follows with blank dated pages that can be used for writing out important events or for note booking with pictures or stickers.

This resource also offers printable timeline category stickers to color code entries if desired (music, inventions, wars, etc.).

Overall, I feel this resource is well worth the cost and is comparable to many more expensive offerings of the same content. The only disclaimer I would offer is that Ancient History will start at 4004 BC, but this is in line with Master Books’ Young Earth teaching model.
This timeline book helps students to 'see' key events in history
Review by Kathleen
The book gives students a valuable tool to make logical connections n history. This timeline book can be used with any subject and any resource. The timeline dates from 4004 BC to 2021 AD. It also includes many blank pages where the student can add their own date. There is a list of dates and names of key events throughout history that the student can use. This is a wonderful resource that every student should have to help them see a clear picture of the events that took place in history and how so many of them affected others just because they happened around the same time.
A Wonderful Tool to Use
Review by Becky V.
This is such a great tool to use as you study history with your kids.

For me, growing up, I knew a lot of dates and things that happened in history, but it was never laid out in a timeline format, and I missed making many connections that I have since learned along with my children.

Wonders of Old is a blank timeline that is easy to use. It is divided into four historical time periods of ancient, medieval, new world, and modern. I really appreciate the blank timeline pages that are included that you can add throughout, if needed. And I love the Significant Dates sections at the beginning of each historical time period. This is great to use as a guide; we highlight each one as we add it to our timeline, in addition to other significant events we include.

My kids enjoy using this tool and are making great connections as we study history. They love looking back through it and remembering what we have learned!
Great additional history resource
Review by Kristy
Wonders of Old: A Blank Timeline Book of World History is a wonderful resource to add to your homeschool. It is basically a blank timeline book that you fill in with different events from each time period. The book is divided up into four sections: ancient, medieval, new world, and modern. At the beginning of each time period there is a list of significant events that happened.

I think this book would go very well with the World’s Story series by Masterbooks. You can have the student draw pictures or cut out ones you already have and put next to each event or date. This will help the students to better remember what happened and when it happened. I have a visual learner and this is an amazing resource for him.

Having the whole timeline laid out and easy to use is extremely helpful in organizing time periods for history. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it is completed.
Very versatile
Review by Yulia
I got this timeline in digital version. It would be nice to see it in a book version as well, but for the digital one: it is versatile and can be adjusted to the family needs.

It provides enough space for kids to add some pictures or write down important events, yet it can be neatly stored in the binder instead of on the wall.

It also provides suggested events and time stamps of history, yet it is flexible that you don't have to use the suggested events and add your own.

Great product for the families who are maybe tight on space and cannot or do not want to hang a timeline on the wall, or for those who likes flexibility of adjusting the timeline their certain way. Digital option is awesome because I can print more pages for more kids or if we mess up one or two of them :)
Succinct Timeline
Review by Brittni
The PDF version has allowed us to "re-do" pages as needed. Unlike a previous timeline book we had with timeline stickers, if you messed up there was really no way to fix it. With my elementary ages students, finding dates (BC or AC) and placing timeline figures accurately is harder, this takes the pressure off! Thanks Masterbooks for a succinct timeline!
SUCH an awesome resource!
Review by Sara
We are a homeschooling family with 4 children and coordinating all their different timelines for history can be a real stressor! We have tried everything, on the walls, in our binders.. until I found this wonderful resource- A already bounded book! (Enter angels singing hallelujah) This book is already labeled, sectioned off into 4 time periods, plenty of space, stickers if you would like to categorize events.. even a blank section for any extras! So much easier for our family to buy one of these timelines for each child and use it through all of their history courses to see a beautiful finished product to cherish for years to come.
Great Homeschool Resource!
Review by Krista
This blank timeline is one of my new favourite homeschool resources!
Such a great way to incorporate a historical study, while keeping the timeline neat and tidy in a book.

It has 4 main sections: Ancient, Medieval, New World, and Modern History.
This timeline can be used however works best in your home, and the flexibility of it is fantastic!
Easy to Use and Modify
Review by Lexie
This timeline is a great accompaniment to any Biblical history curriculum. I love the ease at which you can use it. It comes in 4 main sections: ancient, medieval, new world, and modern. Specific dates are given at the beginning, but the timeline is only listed with dates for you to fill in whatever you are studying. My favorite part is that the end of the book contains blank timeline inserts so that if you need another piece in the middle of a section, it can be added.
